I have to say that overall, the most pleasing thing about this hotel is the staff. The receptionists, the barman and even the cleaning ladies were professional, knowledgeable and very friendly indeed........so well done. Unfortunately the 3 ladies at breakfast were too busy chatting to each other to even ask if everything was ok with the breakfast or drinks, would... More

Me and my partner stayed in Malmaison for 2 nights for a romantic get away weekend. The staff were very welcoming when we first arrived. Prior to visiting I informed the staff we were there celebrating for a special occasion, upon entering our fantastic room we were greeted with a bottle of champayne. The room was very spacious and modern... More

We recently had an overnight stay here due to being in Glasgow for a concert. Hotel is very central and is within walking distance of the town centre. Price of £109 for a twin room which was reasonable we thought. Rooms were of a really good size, plenty of mini bar choices should you fancy them. One of our bathrooms... More

We arrived early in the morning and left our bags at reception - upon our return they had been placed in our room awaiting us. Although our room was quite warm - there was a fan in the wardrobe which helped cool things down! Staff were friendly and efficient.

Stayed at Malmaison plenty of times before and always good, friendly staff, nice ambience etc BUT it really does feel a little mean spirited to find yourself being charged an extra £2pp per day for a cooked breakfast........when you've already paid £103 per night for both the room and what you thought would be a whole breakfast. What's more there... More

We were in Glasgow for a short overnight stay, and the Malmaison was centrally located and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and welcoming and the hotel lobby, rooms and bar/restaurant were decorated nicely. We were a short walk to nice bars and restaurants, and the bar downstairs has an extensive selection of whisky for a wee dram and our... More

We are just back from a two night stay and whilst the hotel was very nice and the staff were very attentive, it suffers from one fatal flaw. It was so uncomfortably warm in our room that both of us suffered with a lack of sleep and now feel shattered now that we're home. Its obviously a known problem as... More

Spent one night here after a late plane into Edinburgh airport. By the time we picked up our bags and the car and drove to Glasgow it was after 11pm and the restaurants were closed but their room service has a nice selection of late night bites available until 6am, perfect for just such an occasion. Parking was a bit... More

Booked last minute and only for one night so didn't expect to get a great room although the price was very good. Checked in efficiently and were allocated one of the inner facing rooms which was beautifully decorated and styled. Everything worked in the room apart from the air-con although there was a good quality desk fan which was fine... More

We made the reservation at the Malmaison Hotel for our overnight stay in Glasgow, as our daughter had previously stayed at the Malmaison in Edinburgh. We were in Glasgow for an afternoon at the Hydro to watch the Gymnastics, followed by the evening session of the Athletics. What turned out to be an outstanding day of events, enjoyed too by... More
