Went on a DBB rate £149 for one night via own hotel website. Room was dark and really warm, windows were altered so they only onened slightly. Food was not up to our expectations for this type of hotel. Breakfast was so slow, went down at 10.15 didn't get our beakfast until 11! Also had to ask twice for a... more

Standard room was small but comfortable. Lovely toiletries. Ate in the restaurant which was very nice. Very good value when booked through it's own website - £99 for room + 2-course meal with wine. There is no parking so you either have to pay to park on the street or in nearby multistorey. more

Went on their Sunday supplement rate. Spend over 75 in the brasserie stay over for £10'er or £20 for a superior room. We went for superior. Room was nothing special, it was nice but quire small and looked out onto a busy office block. I know they are not "de jour" but some sort of net curtain to hide the... more

Booked the "Big Yin" as a surprise for my wife and was not in the least disappointed. The room is amazing and the description on the web site doesn't do it justice. The staff also bent over backwards and nothing was a hassle. Thank you for making the trip special. more

Stayed in the Malmaison for 1 night as part of a weekend in Glasgow to visit an exhibition and do a bit of shopping. I booked the room via the Malmaison website and selected the Dinner, Bed & Breakfast Rate of £125.00 per room per night. On arrival at the hotel, a ten minute walk up-hill from Queen Street Station,... more

Have stayed here several times and found the rooms to be OK though for the price, it niggles that they don't even give you a free biscuit. Food in the restaurant is good but service can be very haphazard. However, on my last stay I was in a part of the hotel I had never stayed in before (up the... more

Stayed here for a night in April. Overall, the hotel is fine for the money. Service was good, room service was above average, but bedroom and bathroom were average at best and a bit smaller than expected. Key positive takeaways: * Breakfast room service was surprisingly good. * Wireless internet was free for me * Check-in was easy - no... more

I had planned a very special trip for my wife and I to visit Glasgow and stay at the Mal, in their signature room (The Big Yin). The price, incorporating the love package for two nights was just under 850 pounds and both my wife and I are of the same opinion. The good things are Great bath Nice contents... more

I booked a dinner, bed and breakfast rate which was a great deal. The room was small but in usual Malmaison style the decor was sleek. We checked in, went up to the room, opened the door and realised someone else was already in the room. Thankfully the occupants were not actually in the room but their luggage etc was.... more

We had a totally relaxing stay in Mal Glasgow over Easter weekend. We had a fabulous duplex suite this time but we've stayed in various other type of rooms before and they're all of a high standard with good quality furniture and totally comfy beds. The gorgeous complimentary arran aromatic toiletries are the best we've ever found in a hotel... more
