Stayed two nights at this hotel. Rooms are very nice with all amenities and nice bathrooms. Rooms are very dark - lots of dark colors. Staff were very accomodating. Breakfast was very good. Don't stay in rooms 150 - 152 (and probably rooms above). On a Saturday night there were cars driving around and around the area, one that backfired... More

My friends and I decided to meet in Malmaison after work for a few drinks and a fab time was had by all. The staff are friendly and very attentive. There is a great choice of cocktails and we sampled a selection of the bar snacks which were very tasty. Will definitely be back soon.

This is a charming and quaint boutique hotel. But if you get a room on the side of the road, you will NOT be sleeping. Each night around 10:30 a continuous parade of souped-up cars roar up and down the roads encircling the hotel, with large exhaust systems that backfire very few yards (sounding just like gunshots). This continues until... More

This was my first visit to Malmaison but it definitely won't be my last; in fact it was so nice we decided to have our Christmas night out here this year. A friendly smile greeted us upon arrival from reception and we headed down to the bar area which we thought was lovely. We sampled a few cocktails; each was... More

I was initially dubious after my experiences prior to arrival - we were attending a wedding and needed either early check in or somewhere to change. My e-mail was not answered for two months and even then it was unclear whether we could have this. However, as soon as we arrived in reception, I immediately felt that all would be... More

Stayed for 3 nights in September, in Glasgow on business but mixed with a celebration. Lovely hotel, high class standard of decor. Eat in the Brasserie on a deal, included 2 course meal and either bottle of wine or cocktails - excellent value. The food was excellent and bursting with flavours, good choice of menu. Staff were some of the... More

Stayed for two nights at what I thought were rates I would have paid in a standard chain hotel and so felt the more upmarket offering was good value. I think this is one of their older hotels and the bedroom floor was quite creaky but noise-wise the room was good. I'd asked for a quiet room and got one... More

I stayed at the Malmaison Glasgow for the second time in early September. On the night that I booked the price was only a little more expensive than the nearest Premier Inn, but the feeling is that you are somewhere a bit special. The hotel sits at the top of quite a steep hill only a five to ten minute... More

Arrived at the hotel after a very early start and a long day at work. My room was in the old part of the building accessed from behind the reception desk. The room seemed very dark and the lighting was not great. The bathroom was a good size, but was not as clean as it should have been. The shower... More

Having to go to Glasgow for work quite a few times in 2013 & 2014 I decided to try the MalMaison for a change. Nice place situated in the heart of the city and just a short walk up the hill from Central Station. Usual funky MalMaison setup with nice rooms & bathrooms if a little small and dark. Great... More
