Stayed for 2 nights in the Marques de Carceras room. Lovely decor, and as stated by other reviewers, top quality electronics, also the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. There was a bath but I'd have preferred one with taps in the middle, nice toiletries, as there should be for the price, but while tea and coffee were provided... more

Stayed for just one night. Interesting building, feels more like a good club than a hotel. Good room with stylish decor and a bathroom which could be half "open" to the room (you could watch TV!) or closed off. Stayed for one night. Staff were friendly and informative particularly David one of the concierge team who also showed us too our room. Room was very well finished and spacious. the dark boutique style was pleasant to us but may not be to everyones style as you often have to put the lights on during the day. None the less... more

Stayed here for two nights, great bedroom, soft Egyptian cotton sheets, wonderful bathroom, had dinner both nights, amazing food. Incredible value for money. The restaurant is called a Bistro- it's more Fine Dining. Can't wait until I need to be back in Glasgow. more

The complimentary ground coffee was superb (you can only get it wholesale from Matthew Algie, I've checked), the "superior" suite was vast, and the drapes about 10 kg/sqm (which did help keep the room toasty, after my overhaul of the heating system, anyway -- more on that below).
