Stayed here for one night and overall an excellent experience. From our arrival and the bekilted front-of-house chaps virtually running down the terrace to relieve us of our luggage to check-out the experience was good. Nice touch to get a dram on arrival after negotiating Friday afternoon Glasgow traffic. Minor gripe that room wasn't ready till 4pm, although they do... more

Stayed here for a friends wedding being held in the hotel. Room was in building 4 and was exceptionally large. Four Poster Bed, massive bathroom and shower. Fabrics and furnishings all of top quality. Bed was so comfortable. Each room has a differnet wine themed name. There was a huge skylight in the room which has an electronic blind. The... more

This could so easily have been a 5-star review. This actually is an excellent hotel. Lovely. Beautiful old style luxury. Brilliant staff who couldn't do enough for you and were always ever so friendly and willing. In fact ,we had a lovely one-night quick stay and enjoyed the ambience of this beautiful building. We had guests visiting and the hotel... more

Stayed 3 Nights in late April for a romantice getway. Upon arrival, the staff was very welcoming. Our luggage was immediately taken by the valet and the reception offered us drinks. Unfortunately, the hotel's check-in time is 4PM, so our room was not ready at the time (we arrived around 2PM). Room: We stayed in a Deluxe room. It was... more

We revisited One Devonshire Gardens and stayed for 2 nights (22nd & 23rd February). This is the first time that we have stayed since House 4 has been added and the 'Hotel du Vin' name has been on the sign outside. We dined in the Bistro on Friday night. 1/ The room was of excellent standard but the corridor outside... more

I stayed at Hotel Du Vin recently with work using the excellent internet rate to get an extremely good price for a five star hotel. Although we arrived quite late at about midnight, we had a warm welcome from the concierge and were offered a "wee dram" before being shown to our room. The hotel sits over five house so... more

Wer had stayed at One Devonshire before it was taken over by HdV and loved it. Happily it is just as good now. The staff are so friendly and not at all snobbish. You'll feel like you are coming home. Can't wait to go back. We'll be trying the other HdV's as well. more

We stayed for one night in a 'club' room, dining and taking breakfast in the hotel. When booking the accommodation, the hotel itself only had £300+ rooms available, so we made the reservation through laterooms.com, who have a block booking with the hotel. We would recommend others to try this option, particularly as we were able to get a discount... more

We arrived at the Hotel du Vin at approx. 4pm to be greeted with the offer of a free "wee dram" which was a welcome warm up due to the freezing February weather. We managed to get a last minute booking through laterooms at a cost of a measly £99, so I thought we'd get put in a pokey little... more

We have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times over the last year. Each time we come is better than the last. The service is impeccable. The wines are very good. The staff are some of the best we have met on our worldwide travels and can not do enough to fulfil each guests requirements. From the doormen... more
