Sep 22, 2009 | Trip type: Family

We booked Rab Ha's for my Dad's 60th birthday and the four rooms upstairs meant that the family could all stay the night without having to worry about taxis and accomodation all over glasgow. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful with everything from the menu and booking to hiding cakes and organising tables for us.... more

We wanted to visit Glasgow for the Hogmonay celebrations and also for my 50th Birthday. We chose Rab Ha's on a personal recommendation and we were not disappointed. It is an excellent establishment. It has four rooms above an excellent pub and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was wonderful with a really good varied menu. The food in the... more

Rab Ha's is a pub, restaurant and hotel all rolled into one. It's in the Merchant City which is right in the centre of Glasgow. The hotel room was very stylish with a great bathroom and comfy bed. There is one problem with staying here however. The room was very cold!! I lived in Glasgow until I was 30 and... more

The staff at Rab Ha's were friendly, the room was clean, but it only had blinds, no curtains. The result was an incredibly light room, you could almost read at midnight, with the light off! Fine if you are used to light rooms, but for me it was a nightmare. Breakfast was a disappointment, cereal and toast - apparently this... more

17/11/07 Letter to Management Rab Ha's. After reading a recommendation of your restaurant online we decided to book at Rab Ha’s, as it appeared to look reputable. Fair enough the football was on, however being a business it could be assumed that the person on the phone who confirms bookings would be professional and actually know when the restaurant is... more

We have just returned from a 1 night stay at Rab Ha's, having found it through Trip Advisor. We stayed in room number 1 which was very spacious, lovely shower room and comfortable bed. The location is excellent. Right in the Merchant City and within walking distance of everything central. We were meeting friends for a meal in the restaurant... more

Underpants discarded behind our bathroom door was only one of a series of issues we had with Rab Ha's when we stayed between Christmas and New year of 2005. Other problems were Radiator not working in Bedroom. Very noisey fan in Bathroom. Shower door wouldn,t close. Shower drain blocked. Shower temperature couldn,t be adjusted. Rooms didn,t appear to heve been... more

Spent a fantastic one night at Rab Ha's on the way to the Highlands for a few days, after a personal recommendation from a friend in Glasgow. It's buried deep in the middle of the Merchant City, right in the middle of the town and walking distance to everything. Possibly not what you would look for for a silent retreat-type... more
