I had researched hotels around the Glasgow Airport area as I was visiting the Paisley area for a family funeral. I was told about the Crookston by a family member, and whilst apprehensive, I was genuinely surprised by the hotel. The room was spacious with twin beds and an en-suite shower room. The bed linen was clean as were the... More

I hired the main function suite for a birthday party at the end of November last year. I got a good deal which included the DJ and the basic buffet package. I then paid extra to have additional food and wine added and they were happy to make a few adjustments at no extra cost.I was able to access the... More

Rooms very basic, needs decorating, hot water a luxury, beds uncormfortable, bedding worn, stained walls, carpets. We had booked in for 2 weeks n lasted 4 days, very dissapointed. Breakfast= member of staff unfriendy and rude, breakfast basic choice. If your room is above lounge, very noisy.

First impression of the hotel little bit dark downstairs. Staff were friendly and helpful, my room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Hotel is a fair bit outside of glasgow city centre, but there's a train station a short walk away , with regular trains taking you into the city . I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was quaint and had character unlike some of the hotels I have stayed in. I usually stay in the centre of Glasgow for work but all of the prices had gone up due to some important vote that was due that week. Heavy curtains, quality bedding, ornate table lamps and an elegant staircase outside the room were the... More

This is not a luxury hotel by any means but for a couple of nights is good value. We only really needed a bed for the night and I am glad we decided to stay here as only 5 minutes from a venue we were attending. The staff were helpful the room we had was large and the bed comfortable....reasonably... More

The hotel is mostly sort of OK, the breakfast is an individually cooked with plenty of toast and coffee/ juice and the bar area is buzzy (bit like the local pub of old) - that's the good bit, The less good is that rooms are old and have had no investment, the showers are very erratic, wait for hot water... We had a room booked for the day due to my husband driving a lorry through the night...he was involved in collecting goods from the Athletes Village to take back to the south of England. Well, we were put in room 22 which is situated behind a 'PRIVATE' door? Had hardly any sleep! Slam, slam, slam of the door, stomp,... More

We booked this hotel before reading the reviews because it was very close to the Ross Hope Hospital which I was attending for a consultation. Once I read the reviews I was very apprehensive, but I need not have worried. The room was clean, staff friendly and the locals were great. Our evening meal was good and although you have... More
