Went to Glasgow for concert at Hampden Park stadium. Hotel reasonable costs, included free parking and breakfast. Arrived a little early for 2pm check in, so we're provided coffe and luggage storage, whilst we waited. Set in the adjoining bar, grill house, which was very nice. Room was huge, the single beds were made into a king size double which... More

This hotel has had major refurbishment in the last few years and it is well done indeed. Although quite small it has old world features like a nice Victorian staircase yet most of the colours and fittings are sympathetically modern and mix together very well. Wi-Fi is good and free and to get shown to your room is very welcome... More

My wife and I were invited to celebrate a friend's birthday here. The buffet meal was held in the Private Function suite and the serving and bar staff were very friendly. The bar area was busy and is obviously popular with locals.

Struggled to find a room in city centre and ended up here. Very impressed with size of room , helpfulness of staff particularly the bar staff. Food was excellent for a three star hotel. The only negative was the size of the bathroom. But would strongly recommend to business travellers with a car as an excellent alternative to traditional premier... More

Stayed one night, had trouble getting accommodation in city centre. I know the area well and it is a great location. Giffnock is a dry area on the outskirts of Glasgow; there is a bar attached to the hotel. On arrival was greeted by a number of bar guests standing on the entrance of the hotel smoking their cigarettes; a... More

Went for a meal here for sentimental reasons because this is where I was born. It was the Orchard Park Nursing Home then, and Gordon Brown was also born here the year before me! Pleasant food and friendly staff. Good modern decor and clean fresh ladies room. I had a starter of duck breast with grilled chicory and candied walnuts... More

We had a family birthday to celebrate and chose the Orchard Park as the ideal venue for an event for around 60 people. The staff - in particular Stacey (soon to be flying the world with Emirates) - could not have worked any harder to serve our guests with the most delicious buffet which received sensational reviews from our party... Got sick upon checking into this room which smelled moldy and mildew. The front desk/waitress brought us Glade pluck ins. In fact, we went across to Saintbury to get a can of Febreze to freshen the horrible choking odor of moldiness. The staff did not seem surprised about the complaint as if they were already aware of the long standing... More

this is pretty late but we stayed here in October 2014 for a family member birthday party nearby, very easy to find via sat nav, check in was quick and easy and we were shown to the two double ensuite rooms we had booked, basic but very nice and well equipped views were nothing to write home about but we... I was recommended to stay here by a colleague and it didn't disappoint. An easy check in and showed to my room which was modern and bright. Restaurant and bar on the ground floor seems popular with locals and served lovely food. Only small niggle was the lack of mirror to dry my hair. Breakfast was lovely on both mornings... More
