Just a sleep disgusting place. It could be a reasonable nice place if clean rooms and pleasant staff but the room was very untidy, not clean at all, disgusting!!! looks that was not clean for ages actually, mainly the windows and the shower, even the... Is it a nice hotel? No. Does it look like it is overdue for renovation? Yup. Would I stay there with my wife? Absolutely not. However, in my personal experience, it is definitely not as bad as people say. This hotel is completely fine for a guy's night out. I stayed there with three friends. Our four bed room on... More

Whist making my way upstairs I passed Chris Bonnington with his oxygen mask on, yes it was a fair bit up, but when I opened the door of room/cell 35 I now knew how Chris was inhaling oxygen, it was the smell in the room was like a burning sort of smell. I then walked into the room being taken... More

Stayed here for one night in one of the 6 bedded rooms. The staff were rude on approach and unhelpful with simple requests. The room itself was of a poor standard with bunk beds almost falling apart. Not clean by any means with chewing gum stuck to most of the beds. The bathroom door didn't lock which wasn't convenient giving... More

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Worst staff contact. Worst communication. Mould in bathroom, bathroom door didn't lock, roof Brocken, beds broken. Rude rude staff, swearing, shouting unacceptable. Never stay here. A street corner would be better.

I have stayed here twice now, first with a group of uni friends and then with my partner. The first time, I stayed in a room for four. The room itself is largely what you expect from a hostel and met, but did not exceed, my expectations. The beds were kind of unstable and made lots of noise when you... More

We stayed at St. Enochs for 10 nights, in a small room for 2. The hotel is cheap and that's noticable in the lack of common hotel facilities. But putting expectations of luxury aside, St. Enochs really does try to make everything comfortable and affordable. When we were there, sheets weren't changed as frequently as they should have been, due... More

Hygiene is something they need to work on ... and very hardly if they want to succeed. The location is great, but the room was extremely small and dirty. Not sure the bed sheets were washed before our arrival I will never be back, but take your bad sheets or a cover with you :(
