The room is very dated and needs badly updated. The staff were incredibly rude and made us feel very unwelcome, and the beds weren't even made properly (the buttons at the button weren't done up) which we then had to do. There is no on street parking as its card holders only despite that they say there is.

For the price, and given a few of the reviews I read on here beforehand, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. It was clean, the staff (though they were few and far between) were friendly enough and I'd happily have stayed there longer than the single evening I was there.

My girlfriend and I slept in this hotel for a week, we chose this one because there was a 'special offer' and was cheaper than the others. First, when we book the room, we could precise when we were supposed to get there. We mentioned "around 8am". Once at the hotel, a guy told us that the room won't be... More

This place isn't the best place to stay in Glasgow nor did we expect it to be. The room was basic but clean and although the the bathroom was tired the shower was pleasant and everything worked. Only downside was the service, although we arrived late, the lady on the door buzzed us in and we were left to wander... More

I stayed two nights in a single room with ensuite for £66, thought this was great value for money for its fantastic location. You get what you pay for, basic small single room but very clean, new carpets and bathroom. Absolutely perfect for travellers on a budget, I found reception staff helpful also, they were happy to book taxis for... More

Husband stayed here on 2nd Aug for one night. The place is run down, & had a musty smell in the room. Shower cold & bathroom dirty. Don't do breakfast either Don't expect a 5 star for 40.00 but a clean room is not much to ask for. No soap or plug in bathroom.

I stayed here for one night in a single room. The room was adequate with clean and comfortable bed and room. The staff greeting was efficient and friendly. It seemed as if the whole place had just been re-carpeted. It's very handy for the city with a metro station just around the corner. Where it was let down was the... More

This a basic and down to earth place to stay - cheap and cheerful. Its in the middle of the west end and ideally placed to travel anywhere in Glasgow. If you want luxury go elsewhere but if you are travelling alone and need a place to rest your head it will be fine

I stayed a night at Glasgow House with my family and the 3 of us had a room with double and single bed. It was clean and comfortable. TV was large but there were no breakfast provided. The streets can be noisy depending on traffic but the location was good. It was convenient to go to museums nearby and the... More

Not a lot to say about this place. The staff are very helpful and make up for any difficulties. The Rooms are very clean and the staff work at keeping it like that. The neighbourhood is exceptionally well placed for the West End and 100 metres away from a major bus route and 300 metres to the subway. TV is... More
