Great stay as usual at the Best Western in Glasgow. We always opt to stay here when visiting Glasgow. The staff are great, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is lovely. Its a great location for seeing the city and is close to bars, restaurants and close to the quay to see the Hydro which was the reason for... More

This hotel is a bit dated, as per other reviews but this doesn't detract from it's fair price and very good location in Glasgow. We had a nice welcome, good night's sleep and a decent breakfast while staying in Glasgow for a concert. Our room, on the ground floor had a lovely view out to the front of the property... More

We booked last minute on Thursday (25th June 2015) and got a small double which was ample. However the council have decided to pull down the building behind which is right out side the window. Not nice at 7am! How ever the manager soon sorted us out with a new room and we stayed an extra night. The rooms are... More

If being woken at 07:30am with full on demolition is your idea of a relaxing break, get yourself along to Best Western Glasgow City Hotel. There is an 'informative' laminated sign inside the hotel which will assure you this is minimal works Monday - Friday, my images were taken Saturday 20th June at 07:30. The window to room 112 was... This was a small hotel tucked into a side street close to what appeared to be the business district of Glasgow. It was a short walk to city center and bustling streets full of shopping and restaurants. There is no parking included, but there is a garage nearby. Unfortunately, that garage was full so we had to park at another one... More

WORST HOTEL I have stayed in. The room was at the back where the building site was, you couldn't even open the dirty, dusty windows, never let alone swing a cat in the room it was so small. The smell of grease from the dinning room filled the whole entrance, reception, there was no bar and the decor had a... More

Wonderful staff, clean, comfy beds. Hotel used to be a School of Dance and has been repurposed as a hotel making the rooms quite funky in placement. Was a tad noisy due to the demolition of a building behind but we were gone for most of the daytime any way.

So for some reason, my company booked 3 of us to stay here. Get parked outside, good one, you can stay there till 8am then just put some money in and stay longer, cracking. That was the good part, walk up to nice friendly receptionist and enquire where bar and restaurant are, "oh we don't have any" so we have... More
