Nice hotel but dated. Nice personal who try's their best with limited equipment. Time the owner invests in his personal, equipement and the building itself but really nice stay. Wifi some time only downstairs at reception.

So this hotel is well located for bars, restaurants and park. And that is the best that can be said of it. The internet did not work, except in lobby, and I was fobbed off with excuses every day. On first night (room 26) I was kept awake by screaming pipes much of the night, the receptionist didn't beleive me... More

The location of this hotel is excellent however the hotel itself is definitely below par. The towels and bedsheets were covered in stains. On request the towels were changed although the response, tone and looks from the member of staff who replaced them were less than satisfactory. The staff in general appeared to be bone idol and they did not... More

We had a triple room for 5 nights as we were in Glasgow for the commonwealth games and charged £1800. The room was not clean when we arrived and then not cleaned during the stay - the shower was very unpleasant with soap in the dish from a previous guest . The shower was a nightmare and never worked -... More

Overpriced at £550 for a quad room, but we only wanted it for 4 adults for 1 night after going to the Commonwealth Games at Hampden Park! In saying that, we only had 2 cups, 2 glasses & 3 bath & hand towels..we had room 40, which was up god knows how many floors, and with no lift, carrying suitcases... More

We had a bad experience here. This hotel has three floors without a lift. We had to move two big baggages along narrow stairs, it was a nightmare. In addition, when we asked for another room, the receptionist replied with a brusque ‘NO’ without a real intention to help us. Since the breakfast was served in the basement, we have... More

Well Smiths Hotel, I gave you the chance to set things right, but this has obviously fallen on deaf ears! You were warned! We arrived and were dealt with professionally. That's where it finished. The staff were friendly enough but seemed not to be full engaged in the running if the hotel. The room. The only chair was filthy, I... More

I traveled with two others and we had a an twin bed ensuite on the second floor. The room was fairly small, but it came with a coffee and tea set-up for the mornings. We never made it to a breakfast, so unfortunately I can't comment on it. The shower was the only thing that left much to be desired.... More

Stayed here for a few nights with a group of friends. Service perfectly friendly with staff making themselves available to guests at all times. Lots of CCTV on every level which was a bit surprising but we never had any issues with rowdy or noisy guests. We had a room on the ground floor and one on the top. The... More

Seriously, stay away. After being there for our then 2 hours we canceled our other nights, and the screwed us out of another 60 pounds t we canceled in time to get our full refund. Also the toilet is barely large enough to fit a person, it doesn't even have a sink ( this is also the only toilet on... More
