The room was clean and tidy, price was reasonable. Hotel is ideally located near the town centre. There was a lot of noise early in the morning from other guests on our floor, although this is the hotels fault.

It does what is says on the tin. It's basic and not the Hilton bit more than acceptable for the price. Clean and tidy breakfast could be better but edible tbh. We stayed a extra nite one at £50 and one at £30.

Smiths Hotel is comfortable and clean and walking distance from a lot of places, it is convenient and has breakfast. The service is good, the food is decent, it is close to the university where I had work to do.

Used this hotel as a place to crash after a night out. Obviously isn't the best place but it's decent for what you pay. I'd happily come here again. Very friendly & accommodating staff, not too far from the city centre (less than £10 taxi) and we were allowed to order a pizza in after our night out which was... More

i have to go out in glasgow for the evening. when i arrived it looked nothing like the pictures on their website, they have either been doctored or standards have slipped badly from what it used to look like. there was thick black grime/slime mould around the bottom of the shower which i can only imagine is lots of dead... Teeny weeny room, a window width, as rooms butchered into fragments. Teeny weeny shower, banging elbows as one negotiates from shower to loo. A single room with a double bed. We took turns standing.Very clean though.

Clean and convenient location. No warm welcome by male staff member and a very moody, unfriendly, female receptionist blocked our car in free car park located at the back. No lift, narrow staircases, drafty windows. Comfortable bed, hair on sheets that was not me! We left quite early and missed breakfast. Wi-Fi was excellent. We stayed in room 31.
