Near to Sauchiehall Street for all the bars, but no noise from them. Great place, clean, nothing bad about the place at all. Staff all really helpful with directions and luggage. Good value given that the hotel is in the city centre.

I found the staff very friendly and welcoming and polite. My room was very comfy and clean. Breakfast was a very adequate continental breakfast with fruit yogurts toast cereal and or porridge. A cooked breakfast is available at an extra cost. I will certainly come here again when I am next in Glasgow.

I have stayed at Adelaides on a number of occasions while working in Glasgow and have always been very impressed by the friendly, helpful and efficient staff. It would be unfair to single out anyone for particular praise, as everyone from reception to catering; housekeeping and management are generally excellent in both attitude and the service they provide. I have... More

My stay could NOT have been more perfect. The location couldn't be better and the reception could not have been warmer or more informative. I was given bits of advice on bus tours, vocabulary, tipping, walking directions, even hand gestures - all sound, and they made my short visit that much richer. The Glasgow School of Art (GSA) is just... More

Perfectly average B&B with above average staff who I must say were very helpful. Slightly run down Faulty Towers air to the place, but was clean despite its age. We didn't order a cooked breakfast, continental breakfast was very basic, boxed cereals and toast and the most disappointing bit was the unpleasant cheap instant coffee. Felt like a hospital breakfast.... More

I really enjoyed staying here. It's a fantastic location in the centre of the city and very close to restaurants and shops. It's only about a block from stop 26 of the hop-on-hop-off bus, which was very handy. I walked from here to Glasgow Cathedral and the People's Palace, so it's quite good for tourists. The people were lovely, very... More

Spent two nights here over a weekend in February. Fantastic location, close to bars, shops and restaurants. Very clean, good amenities in room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great value city centre accommodation, if you need a base to explore Glasgow this is ideal.

I attended a conference at this hotel and was astounded on entering the conference room. It was an old church in a previous life and the organ pipes are very prominent along with the upper tier of seats in which circle the main hall/vestibule. The catering was excellent and staff very friendly. I cannot comment on the bedrooms and restaurant... More

I stayed at Adelaides for the weekend and it was perfectly pleasant and surprisingly good value. Paying £75 for a two night stay in the centre of Glasgow is great value. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I like to sleep with the window open and could hear the people out on the nearby... More

There is no doubt that the best thing about this hotel is its location - right in the heart of Glasgow and within walkable distance to lots of attractions, shops, bars etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and is attached to some sort of religious/community centre, although that doesn't have any impact on guests. There is a... More
