I had booked Adelaides weeks ago ~ two separate rooms for my friend and I but then as we were leaving Canada for our trip weather interrupted our fight plan. I contacted Steven at Adelaides - No bother he said. Then the flights were back on and our originsl rooms were available! Got here early morning - welcome to breakfast... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights. The staff were friendly, rooms were clean. If we ever needed anything, there was never an issue, they even gave us extra biscuits without us even asking (they got to know us well lol), a big shout out to TED, he was fab.

I stay in this B&B once a month as I have to visit Glasgow with my job. They are always so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are comfortable and clean and have everything you need, including coffee and tea-making facilities (including shortbread biscuits!) I feel like an old friend returning when I show up - specially when Ted is on reception.

We stayed for one night when going to a gig at the O2 ABC in Glasgow. Adelaide's is in the next street parallel to the venue so it was perfect. The place is clean and tidy and our room (no.8) was a good size and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff are very friendly and the... More

I stayed here for 2 nights with my sister for a city break. We had stayed previously at one of the Hilton's and it was soulless and overrated. Here we had a nice, friendly reception. 24 hour reception cover, clean, comfortable rooms with the option of a hearty cooked breakfast (recommended) for £6 extra. All staff were helpful especially Ted... More

Adelaides is a nursery school. A church. And quite the multitasking building making most use of space. Weird. Dark. I don't recommend unless you have been backpacking and then it's delightful. They were nice enough to honor a cancellation without fee when they saw our displeasure.

In reply to your comments - at no time do we advertise as a hotel. We are a small intimate Guesthouse in our award-winning listed building, the charms of which you obviously did not appreciate. I believe you stayed only ten minutes and left. We pride ourselves on customer service and as can be seen from your comment, "nice enough... More

We had two spacious rooms at Adelaides, and at great prices. One of the owners, Ted, greeted us and made our day - very funny and personable and eager to help in any way. While the rooms are quite simple, they are very clean and had all that we needed. Continental breakfast is included, hot breakfast is additional but very... More

Comfortable, clean, big room with en suite. Good location for exploring central Glasgow. Friendly service. Simple breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, yoghurt, cheese and fruit. £75 for a double room b&b was expensive but the best deal I could find in the city centre.

My rating is based on the fact that this is a 2 star hotel and I liked eveything about it but felt it could've been a little cheaper than £75 a night. I was greeted by a very friendly man who let me store my luggage as I was early. When I returned to the hotel at about 10 pm... More
