We enjoy frequenting this hotel for drinks and snacks and have no complaints. It has two of the most friendly barstaff I have ever met, namely Courtney and Nick they are indeed first class and a credit to this hotel.

Booked this through Laterooms.com, £70 per night for a double room. This was just for the room and did not include breakfast. To upgrade to the breakfast was £11 each per day - £44, I dont thinks so. Walked round corner to Subway and had a lovely roll sauge and egg for £2. Work is going on outside hotel and... More

I booked a room through Laterooms.com because we were going to a gig in St Andrews and we were struggling to find digs anywhere else. It was one of the only places left under £100 (paid £70) but felt it was overpriced. The staff were alright, the room was ok, mibbie a bit warm and we couldn't get fresh air... More

Many thanks for your review. I am sorry to read, you feel we have a 4 star price tag at £70, but on investagtion and to help future guests, local 4 star hotel prices come in at 50% more at £105 per night. Thanks again Gary Manager More

We booked the Pilmour through one of the last minute web sites and were a bit concerned about some of the reviews we read. We've stayed in quite a few places in St Andrews and all things considered we would go back to the Pilmour. Some reviews mentioned that it was quite noisy as it is basically a pub with... More

Many thanks for your kind review. It is nice to read that our hard work to turn the hotel around since buying in March 2011 and added to our existing hotel next door is pay off. Gary Manager More

Many thanks for your review however there is a few discrepinces that we feel we need to clear up for future guests. We are close to the Old Course, just around the corner from the 18th hole view, only 200 metres away, at no point in our advertising do we state you have views of the Old Course. Check in... More

The Pilmour is now under new management and has been totally transformed into a new modern sports bar/hotel. Having stayed there before I have really noticed the changes, which show committment for making the establishment work. I can see this place will be a great success and wish them all the best.

I have travelled widely and this is the worst place I have ever stayed. Describing this establishment as a 3 star hotel is very misleading - it is merely a pub with rooms. The bar is extremely noisy and it is not possible to sleep until everyone has vacated the premises as there does not appear to be any sound... More

We stayed here for a single night while visiting our son at the University. We were attracted by the location, price & that we could bring our small dog with us. I stayed at this hotel with my husband whilst up for a golf trip and had a very enjoyable stay. We got the room at a reasonable price (£45.00 pppn, we were told at time of booking that because we were coming at the weekend the bar may be busy as they had entertainment on) We decided this was fine...
