When visiting Scotland (several times) I would strongly recommend the Greyfriars Hotel to anyone, this was much much better and a higher value than BB in the same area, very nice rooms, high standard, clean, totally worth coming back to, nice pub and "posh". We will return as soon as we can.

Lovely big room with King Size bed.beatiful bathroom and also ideal for walkig. Step outside the hotel straight ahead for shopping if you turn left you are literally minutes from the Old Golf course. Putting green there is fun for the less serious. The food in the.htel is deliciious and Jim and his wife are most welcoming. Delighted to recommend.
