We can't say enough about what a nice place this is, or the wonderful people (Dell and Maria) who run this beautiful Guest House in St. Andrews. Booked the room after looking at their website, and it doesn't do justice to the place. Our party stayed in 2 great rooms (there are 6 rooms available), with beautiful decor, nice bathrooms... more

We stayed here in mid July as part of a golfing tour for 3 nights. The owners, Del and Maria, are absoultely great. The house is centrally located and, best of all, just moments from the first tee of the Old Course. Breakfast every morning is included and made to order by Maria and very, very good. We have just returned from 21 days in Scotland and UK. The Doune House is the only B&B we booked without using Trip Advisor info ( none was available). Although all our B&B's were great, Del and Maria (owners) made our Doune House visit memorable. They are fantastic people - making all the guest feel at home and very comfortable.... more
