I stayed at Doune House with a friend to attend a wedding in St Andrews. The location was fantastic. 2 minutes walk to the main street and no more than 10 minute walk to even the furthest edge of town. A wonderful B&B close to all interest points from the Medieval coast and University buildings to the Greens of St Andrews. Only a short walk. Delightfully appointed with a wonderful welcome from hosts Maria and Del. Would highly recommend.
