This was more like a bed & breakfast place but with highly inflated price.The rooms were clean with lovely views but very dated,required full redecoration. I booked the hotel for a family wedding and everyone who stayed there found it a great place. The rooms are at least as good as in a number of more highly-priced hotels in St Andrews and the sea views from four of them are wonderful. Beautiful views of the old course and the sea. Beautiful room. Excellent breakfast. Very clean and convenient parking. Nice folks at the hotel, particularly the nice young lady from colorado.

I have stayed at The Hazelbank on at least 6 occassions and have always been more than happy with my stay. The staff are very helpful, the breakfasts plentiful and the location perfect. Lovely sea view, friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast but very overpriced and dated. Room was cramped and very dated, very low water pressure took forever to run a bath. Uncomfortable beds, tiny bathroom. Wouldn't stay here again.

I took the sea view room. The view was excellent.Seems like a family run hotel with excellent staff-very friendly. The location is excellent, close to the shops and golf course. I went with my cousin whose son had taken admission in the university. I would definitely go there. i am not sure about how the other hotels in that area... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Hazelbank so much. The staff, serving the most excellent breakfast, were cheerful, prompt and very accommodating. Convenient location to golf, pubs, shopping and restaurants.

We recently stayed at the Hazelbank during our annual trek to St. Andrews for golf. The Hazelbank is a great small hotel with the personal feel of a B&B. The staff was wonderful and very helpful!
