we stayed in one of the double rooms, upstairs. My wife found the Vardon House via TripAdvisor, and it far exceeded it's rating. The location is literally around the corner from the Links Trust (Old course), right in the heart of St. Andrews. Tony, the owner, is totally laid-back, approachable, and helped our vacation start with a bang. Great breakfast,... More

Our stay in Scotland was terrific. Vardon House boasts great, central location- walk to golf, ocean, museum. Owner, Tony Campbell, is a personable host who helped get our vacation off to a wonderful start. Thanks Tony! I recommend for anyone wishing to visit St. Andrews. Helen Bell Nashville Tn USA

The location is walking distance to St Andrews Golf Course. The rooms are clean. The host/owner is friendly and I would recommend this place to golfing group or family who are looking for a location near to St Andrews Golf Course.

Called last minute to stay at this BB and we were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the self-catered apt and our parents stayed in one of the double rooms. Both were clean, the owner was very kind and hospitable, and the location of this place is fantastic! Literally 2 min walk to Old Course, town center, shops, restaurants and... More

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this guesthouse, which has a great location. However, there was one problem which has left a slightly sour taste. Unfortunately I left a coat in the bedroom wardrobe when we left, and (over two months later) this has still not been returned to me - despite several phone calls and my promising to pay... More

A wonderful little guest house, right in the heart of the town centre, only a minute away from shops, cinemas, golf courses, the sea, etc. The room was clean and quiet, we had no trouble finding a place to park the car nearby, and the cooked breakfast included in the price did a great job in setting us up for... I used TripAdvisor lots before leaving on our trip to the UK - so want to give back a little. I must share our wonderful experience in St Andrews at the Vardon House Bed and Breakfast. The 200 year-old three-story “townhouse” is just a block from ocean (with a view from one of the bedrooms) and a block from the... More
