My friend and I just loved Cambo. Our only sadness was that we had booked to stay for one night only. We were in the clock tower which was atmospheric. My friend loved the bathroom with the bath in the middle of the floor. Loads of room. Wonderful breakfast and friendly, caring staff. Hard to tell who was family and... more

What a place!, simply stunning. The rooms are amazing, the setting is wonderful, the hospitality superb. I was on a golfing trip with 2 friends and we all agreed that it was the best B&B we had ever stayed in. If I ever go back to St Andrews one thing is for sure I'll be booking a room at Cambo!... more

We visited Cambo as we had always wanted to play Kingbarns Golf Links. Both exceeded our expectations. We were greeted by Sir Peter Erskine (owner) and were made to very welcome in his beautiful home. We stayed in the Yellow room which was lovely. The gardens are stunning and after a superb breakfast it was a treat to be able... more

We had a fabulous midweek break in Mid Cottage on Cambo Estate. The newly renovated cottage was very comfortable, especially the cosy bed, and had everything needed for a short break. Despite the cottages being near the road it was very quiet. Unfortunately (and due to golfing) we didn't make full use of the house but the gardens were beautiful... more

We had the most lovely relaxing weekend at Cambo. We really felt spoilt for choice and loved the cozy feel of our room. There was something quite magical about waking up with Cambo covered in snow our first morning. The location is gorgous, with so many hikes and walks. Breakfast was wonderful and everyone went out of their way to... more

What a fabulous facility as run by Sir Peter and Lady Catherine Erskine and their staff. The always friendly and helpful staff also showed a great balance in affording our group the privacy we desired. We have made two one-week stays at Cambo Estate and highly recommend it for travelers from the USA, especially those on a golfing holiday. We... more

We stayed in East Cottage for a week last July (08). The cottage itself was nice but not amazing (as I think the rest of Cambo may be). I was a little disappointed with its location on the estate as it wasn't as close as the website had you believe and for a 2 yr old the walk up to... more

coming from Canada I was not sure if Cambo would live up to all the travel shows I had seen of Scotland. It did!! The house is amazing, they have been able to make you feel that you are a country guest at an estate and not a hotel guest. The atmosphere is friendly but they also give you privacy.A great mix.... more

We stayed at Cambo during the Snowdrop season. It was a place that we had wanted to visit for some time and we were not disappointed. Our stay in the Lower servants quarters was very comfortable. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The little shop selling all things snowdrop is delightful. We enjoyed the garden walk and lunch with Lady... more
