Fantastic place. Lovely huge room. Very fine breakfast. If you are in the area I cannot see any reason why you would try and book somewhere else. We went on the Dawn Chorus which was lead by an expert from St. Andrews Universitywhich was wonderful.

Food service a bit of a muddle but food tasty. the guided walk a bit to long and boring.we took our selves out to the forest walk down to the coast.really lovely display of snowdrops.lovely walk,well sign posted.will definetly go again.good value day out.

Knowing the beautiful gardens and lovely coastal walks we returned with relations and friends from Sunderland to the evening Snowdrop walk. We didn't stay here, we only attended the snowdrops by starlight event in February 2012. It was a lovely experience. Wonderful gardens, breakfasts and hosts...stay in the main home if you can, the rooms and history are unbelievable!
