Great from start to finish. Prompt reply to my enquiry about rooms/rates, telephone confirmation, at check-in they went out of their way to help me find where I was going in town. Great room, clean, quiet, well-heated, every little amenity I needed. the breakfast both days at this B and B was superb, including the best smoked salmon I've eaten... More

Ray and Maggie have a gem tucked away on a well located side street in St Andrews. Our room was clean, modern and with an elegant ensuite bathroom. There was a bay window sitting area with a view of the ocean down the street. The breakfast is not to be missed, and easily fuels one through a day of any... More

We stayed in two single rooms, small but clean, comfortable and nicely furnished with everything you need. Glenderran is very well situated, in the centre of St Andrews, close to sea, golf and the University. Ray and Maggie are very welcoming, taking the time to chat and offer suggestions, breakfast is a feast! Cannot fault it!!

This excellent guesthouse, located right in the heart of St Andrews, made our visit to the town all the more memorable. The owners (in particular Ray) were friendly, courteous and thoroughly professional. They helped create a nice and informal atmosphere, with no curfew imposed. The rooms and en-suite bathrooms were cosy, comfortable and well maintained. There was also free wireless... More

Ray and Maggie were very kind, polite and honest with me. I felt like at home in their house. The house is very beautiful, with carpet anywhere, nice dinning-room and right-sized guest's room. Anything I needed (also informations about St.Andrews i.e. where I would have found a good cake to buy, ecc. ). It's just a place where I would... More

Central and easy to find, good size room and pleasant ensuite - although the light went off while in the shower, you have to keep the vanity light on to avaoid being pluned into darkness! A very pleasant place to stay, if a little expensive for one person. If you are interested in golf, this is a very good place... More

My golf partner and I stayed at this charming B&B located five minutes walk from the Old Course. Ray and Maggie were the consumate hosts. They were exceedingly helpful in providing advice and assistance regarding places to dine and visit in the town of St. Andrews. The service was impeccable and that goes for the rooms which were very clean,... More

Excellent little B & B, hearty breakfast, comfy beds, clean and tidy, very pleasant hosts. Only a short walk from the 1st Tee on the Old Course, absolutely ideal.
