This hostel is 1 minute away from everything - very central! Staff were very friendly and patient. Rooms are a bit shabby (at least the one we were in) but showers are clean. Good value for money.

this is a very nice hostel, with everything that you would expect, warm friendly staff close to everything and a good price. if you heading this way stop in here.

It's cool and friendly. Obviously not perfect, but it's proportional to the price. The bathrooms are a bit old and not too tidy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a kitchen. Would reccommend it if you find nothing cheaper.

We found the st andrews tourist hostel to have filthy bed linen (hair, dust and flakes of who-knows-what) , which we were expected to feel comfortable about sleeping in by lying on top of it in a sleeping bag liner. the toilets and showers are shared sex, which call me a prude but i prefer to shower with my own...
