“Excellent Food, Great Decor, Excellent Staff”

I've just come back from a weekend at the St Andrews Golf Hotel for my birthday and cannot fault it. The decor is modern without being pretentious, the food excellent and the staff couldn't be more helpful. A great weekend and one I hope to repeat very soon. more

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful chilled-out time. The room was beautiful - spacious, clean, in good condition, nice decor (no tartan!). A lovely hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the Junior Suites which was spotless and well decorated, the large bay windows gave us a fantastic view out to the beach. Really wanted to be impressed with this hotel as had read all the reviews on here and elsewhere and was confident it was a good choice. We had a junior suite with lovely bay windows and fantastic sea views. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Love my stay at the St. Andrews Golf Hotel. Excellent service and terrific, nostalgic atmosphere. Clean, professional, and attentive. Definately, reserve the oceanview rooms. Will go again for sure. more

Just returned from five nights at this truly great hotel. Four guys on a Scotland golf holiday. This is the spot for that - and all other Fife activities. Having said that, as you can see from other reviews, this is not just a "golf hotel"...I would go back with my wife in a heartbeat as a perfect vacation spot.... more

Have just returned from a relaxing 3 day break which we extended an extra day as we were enjoying our stay so much. A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The room was big and bright and airy with great views and a modern well furnished bathroom. The staff were particularly attentive and with a small child this was particularly important. The restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was also very well appointed and the food was excellent.
