We stayed one night while dropping our daughter at the university and it was perfect. Marion let us into one of our rooms early to leave our bags and gave us the low-down on life in St Andrews including several recommendations for restaurants within a few minutes' walk as Deveron House really is in the heart of town. We then... More

We stayed here while visiting St Andrews for our daughters graduation. Couldn't have picked a more central location. The room was lovely, the breakfast excellent, and Marion & Graham and their staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Would thoroughly recommend Deveron House to anyone visiting St. Andrews. Fantastic Scottish hospitality. Caroline & Jim, Torquay, Devon

June in Scotland can be cool and the location of this B&B is ideal for the centre of town and the whole Graduation occasion which happens, literally, just across the road. Graham and Marion are super hosts; the place is spotless and the breakfast negates the need for lunch. If and when we come back this is where we will... More

We stayed here just before the Ryder Cup. I wanted to surprise my partner (who is golfer) with a round on the old course. The owners (who are golfers) were brilliant at explaining what I needed to do and they were kind enough to organise hire clubs and balls etc for him. This local knowledge is pretty critical if you... The Deveron House is owned and run by the kindest most warm -hearted people we could ever imagine. Marion and Graham are lovely and go above and beyond in every aspect of their service. The breakfast is delicious, they clean everything spotless every day, they make sure you get to know the other guests and make friends and they will... More

I stayed for 2 nights while at a conference at the university. Graham welcomed me warmly and couldn't have been more helpful, drawing me a map to the beach, looking after all his guests' needs, giving me an excellent fish and chip shop recommendation. The room was very comfortable and well furnished: immaculate. Blue Ribands were a nice touch with... More

Deveron House could not be more convenient for a graduation ceremony at St Andrews, as Younger Hall, where the graduations take place, is literally across the street. It is also conveniently located for the rest of the university, the shops, the beach, and of course the famous golf course. Rooms are not large, but the bed was very comfortable and... More

4 of us stayed with Marion and Graeheme at the lovely and perfectly located Deveron House. The rooms were small, but filled with wonderful king beds. The ensuites are small as well, but everything is immaculate. Breakfast has many options and the French press coffee was a real treat. Everything in town was in walking distance. But the real highlight... More

We stayed 1 night for a University visit with our daughter, the guest house being chosen on our behalf. Our host Graham was most welcoming on our arrival, informative and allowed us to leave our bags whilst we went on our visit. On return Graham had kindly moved our bags to our rooms. The guest house is clean, comfortable and... More
