I found the guest house relaxing, homely, friendly and comfortable. It was also fairly inexpensive. What's more I was upgraded to en-suite bathroom without extra charge. It's very handy for the centre of town without actually being in the centre of town.

I had the pleasure of staying for 10 days at Yorkston Guesthouse while my daughter was settling in at the University of St. Andrews. It was run by a pleasant family. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. My en-suite room was on the third floor with a great view of the gardens. The room was very comfortable and very clean.... More

This was a last minute booking for a family of four. Welcome great, room just as we needed for a family of four with bags of room and indeed a dressing room too. Shower room well appointed and towels as good as 'Old Course'. Breakfast great as you want and for the price good value for money. Wifi worked.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. She is gluten and dairy free. I emailed the Yorkston ahead of time and they had gluten free bread and non-dairy creamer specifically for her. Great breakfast - full Scottish. They were very accommodating about anything we asked and very friendly. Beautiful lounge and very colorful flowers everywhere. The B&B is... More

Stayed at the Yorkston for our daughter's graduation. Very comfortable rooms, large and light. Great en- suite facilities; soft towels and a great breakfast. On the second morning we had to leave very early so the owner organised sandwiches, juice and fruit in the fridge downstairs to take with us. Overall a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

Wow those are a lot of patterns in one room. Our first thought as we entered the warm and welcoming 1st floor lounge... but you know what. It worked (but it may have been the lovely bottle of scotch we all sat around enjoying. I start with this comment because the comfort level felt a bit like home (not so... More

Stayed for two nights booked about a fortnight before and got a good rate of £240.00 for two adults and one child. The room was really nice and big with a massive shower room - very clean. We had a great breakfast which was really tasty and set you well for the rest of the day. The town is less... More

This really is a first class guest house and worthy of its 4* VisitScotland status. Very close to free parking areas and only a few minutes walk to the centre of St Andrews. Immaculate accommodation in lovely traditional property. We booked a twin room for a one night stay and the room and en suite were perfect. Nice touches like... More

Booked about 2 weeks in advance and got a very good rate for St. Andrews (which can be very expensive to stay). The staff were great, happily to accommodate my slightly late arrival and even going as far as to drop back a rental kilt when I had departed as the store wasn't open on a Sunday. Breakfast was really... More

We paid 48 pounds each for a single room, having called on the day. The rooms were actually doubles. Well appointed. Nicely decorated. With sinks in the rooms. Dressing tables to sit at. A lovely guest lounge for relaxing in the evening although the rooms are large enough to stay in there too. Two of us shared a very nicely... More
