Bill and Ann are the perfect b and b hosts. After an exhausting but uplifting hike to St Andrews it was the little touches that made our stay . Comfortable bed, lovely breakfast and nice friendly atmosphere . Thankyou Ann and Bill .From John And Mary

Our stay at St. Nicholas Farmhouse was great. Evelyn was a gracious hostess who did everything she could to make our stay a good one, going so far as to help rescue my husband's contact out of the drain in the bathroom sink. :) The B&B is clean, convenient to town and the beach, comfortable, with a delicious Scottish breakfast.... We stayed in Bill and Ann's bed and breakfast with our friends Mike and Mary Ann from Wyoming and found this to be a great experience. Great breakfasts, wonderful rooms very large with everything you need including coffee, tea, kettle, fridge and microwave, very clean. Bill and Ann where so friendly it was like staying with relatives very down to... More

We had just booked in for one night with Bill and his wife which was unfortunate. They are a lovely, friendly couple who seem to enjoy what they do. Our room was comfortable with a decent en-suite, a mini kitchen and a comfortable conservatory with chesterfield and T.V. A great place to relax. The home is in what could almost... More

We enjoyed our stay here and found the owners very friendly. We had the upstairs room which was very large with a luxurious large en-suite bathroom. It was perfectly clean and well appointed. Breakfast is served to order in the dining room with the hosts chatting as they cooked for us. This set up felt more like being a family... More

We stayed in a few different places as we walked up the Fife Coastal Path, and compared to other accommodation I would say this is probably more of a 2 star (but then it was also the cheapest). It is in a great location for the beach, and you can walk easily into town (even though another reviewer suggests a... More

It is situated on the east sands of st. andrews and you need a car to go to the city centre. The room was a little bit older furnished but was comfortable and it was almost a flat. It included a living room and a little kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. The breakfast was a full scottish one... More

We stayed at a number of hotels, B&B’s and Self-catering Cottages during our six week visit to the UK. We looked forward to our last number of days in the UK in St Andrews as we were also attending a conference at the University of St Andrews. Unfortunately, for all the good ratings it got, St Nicholas Farmhouse was a... More

My sister and I spent 5 nights. Although the owners were on holiday, Evelyn took excellent care of all of our needs while we were there. The room was spacious (bedroom, kitchenette with microwave, teapot, and mini-fridge, bathroom, and sun-room with television) which was great for the longer period. The breakfast always always featured fresh berries and was cooked to... More
