Although Fairnie House is a solid Georgian building (close to the ruined Abbey and castle), it has a light contemporary feel inside. Our high-ceilinged, spacious, bedroom was pleasingly furnished in light woods and had all the conveniences (TV etc.) that we could possibly want. Stayed 2 nights in August - we had a double en-suite room which was very comfortable, clean, cosy (necessary with our "summer"!). Breakfast was excellent, the location is good, would highly recommend. Thank you for a nice stay Pat! more

This was an amazing stay for us - the best of our stay in the UK. Beautiful place with a very homey feel and very clean. Pat was a great host, and the breakfast's were such a great balance of nutrition - both cereals and fruit, along with a choice of hot breakfast items as well. We highly recommend Fairnie... more
