Simple but pretty ok hotel 30 min from Edinburgh. It doesn't have a gym and quality of room equipment isn't impressive but all works, staff is friendly and you can enjoy your drink in a nice, comfortable bar. I will the most likely come back there during my next business travel.

I knew when I booked it wasn't going to be palatial or grand, but location wise it was perfect so we decided to give it a go. We were met by the friendliest of front desk girls. An utter delight. The rooms are in need of an update, but they are nice and clean. A good powerful shower and bags... More

Can only review the bar meals. Visited here Saturday 23rd January for a bar meal. The menu had just been changed as the waitress told us. There was fish, a beef dish and a curry plus 4 yes 4 different types of burgers! Really disappointed as we have been there previously and was always delighted what was on offer especially... More

Good evening Thank you for your feedback This is not our new menu. This is a menu we are using while finalising our new menu which starts on Thursday. I am sure if you asked you may have had something from the evening menu or if there was something in particular you wanted we may have been able to accommodate... More

This was out second Christmas Dinner here and again it didn't disappoint. We opted for the Carvery as last year it was great also. Starters very nice, great choice and variations of meat on the Carvery and plenty veg! Deserts were also really nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I felt it was quite squashed in... More

Stayed here for one night with a large group of colleagues. Had dinner as a group of around 30 and the young ladies who served us were excellent. Food was lovely. Room was large with a modern bathroom and big comfy bed. Slept well. Breakfast was also very nice. Would recommend for business or pleasure.

Stayed here overnight and attended a wedding - service was fine and afternoon burgers were good - hotel itself feels a bit tired and the room was basic. Costs with the exception of drinks were fair- drink prices far too high and on par with better hotels in Edinburgh - evening party was well organised and staff were very attentive.... More

We are a family of 16, including one 2 year old. We had booked the Dean Park as a change for our family dinner on new years day. I have to say we were all thrilled with both the food and the service. The meal was four courses, soup, cold meat platter, carvery and dessert. All four courses received great... More

Went here for a party night early December and held off reviewing as we were also booked as a family for Christmas Day dinner . Firstly the party night , it was a good enough night with the band Number 1 Sun , couldn't fault the staff or the service but now we move on to probably the most important... More

Good morning I have to say myself and the staff are shocked and disappointed at this review. The food and service was first class. I was there for each of your courses. I served them and checked on your table after each course and all seemed to be fine as was all our tables in the restaurant on Christmas Day... More

This hotel suited me for its location with plenty of car parking space. The room I had was comfortable enough with daily service. It would seem the door had been forced open previously and it didn't close to the locked position automatically. The window also didn't lock and opened fully onto a roof (not the best of security) Breakfast was... More
