This has to be one of the worst places ive been to for a wedding. For the outside u would have high expectations. Anyway when u arrive at other hotels after the cermoney you are greeted and shown where to go, not on the occassion, so went into the bar area and waited, decided to order food since we had... more

I remember the Dunnikier House from childhood to now (almost 50 years) so have seen many changes. I was visiting family in the area with my 2 young children and our wee Westie, Arriving late the staff coud not have been more helpful, accomodated us at the bar with dog late on and provided perfectly adequate wine (although a warmer... more

Stayed overnight at the Dunnikeir after a wedding. This old mansion was built in 1793, so is a bit tired if you are looking for something "yuppie". For:- wedding meal was really great, and evening buffet was excellent. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was of very high quality in terms of food used and new chef knew just how... more

I travel all over the UK on business. As a woman on my own I like a Hotel which feels safe and friendly. This Hotel does both. Lynne the Manager is what a Manager should be. Kind, courteous and open to Feedback. OK, the Hotel is being upgraded and is a little tired at the moment but it is comfortable,... more

We booked this hotel based on the three stars from the scottish tourist board and the AA, however, the hotel has changed hands and the standard was appalling! The food was barely edible in the evening and i am sure no chef would dare to present it, they had turned off the central heating because they had painters and carpet... more

This was booked through Laterooms as a stop off up to St. Andrews. The staff were friendly on arrival. Unfortunately, the room was so tired our hearts sank when we walked in. The window in room 12 is a health and safety hazzard. The bathroom was very disappointing. The hotel is set near a golf course and a park and... more

My husband & I had the pleasure of staying at Dunnikier House for 4 nights during which time we were married at a local castle. We stayed at the hotel with 14 other members of our family (their stays varied between 2-4 nights) and returned to the hotel for the most magnificent meal after our wedding. The staff are to... more

Any place that offers complimentary chocolate and wine has won me over! Dunnikier House also served the tastiest breakfast we got on our 6 day journey in Scotland. We stayed at a family room on the top floor, with small windows, which made it a bit dark and stuffy (hence the average rating). Apart from that, the room was clean... more

We were fortunate to stay at the Dunnikier House Hotel for one night only and would loved to have stayed for longer. The Hotel itself is a beautiful building set in grounds that include a golf course and childrens playground. As we arrived late the night porter let us in and was happy to serve us a much needed drink... more

We spent a three-day golf holiday in Fife and stayed in Dunnikier. Service was excellent and helpful from arrival to departure. Athmosphere was peaceful, location excellent concidering golf (St Andrews and Kingsbarns), scottish breakfast very good and rooms were ok. Mr Mumtaz Bokhari made our stay memorable by helping us to book tee-times, table reservations and was helpful also many... more
