Spent one night here after a trip to Cluny Clays. Yvonne was very helpful and welcoming upon arrival. Recommended nice restaurants (La Gondola italian restaurant and Cafe Continental for light bites/lunches to eat, also a bar that does cocktails) Breakfast was delicious - fresh coffee, choice of set breakfasts, cereals and toast provided alongside. Bedroom and Bathroom were spotless. Wifi... More

Lovely bed & breakfast - excellent accommodation, food & service. Breakfast - smoked salmon scrambled eggs & croissant an added luxury. Beautiful equipped bedrooms & lovely en suite bathroom. Would definately stay again if accommodation was needed in Kirkcaldy

Stayed at Dunedin one night on business last week. Lovely house, extremely well kept. Received a really warm welcome. Room (twin room at the front of the house) was huge, spotless and beautifully decorated. En suite was first class. Bed was comfortable. Road noise was audible but not intrusive. If you're used to sleeping in a very dark room it... More

We stayed at the Dunedin on Sept 14, 2012. It was a very sleek modern contemporary B & B in an older house. The room was very big with modern touches and a beautifully appointed bathroom with all the comforts of home. It is centrally located to Kirkcaldy, so you can enjoy walking the high street and visiting the shops.... More

My wife and I just spent three nights at the Dunadin House. While there we met two other couples, at the breakfast table, who shared with us impressions about the hospitality at the Dunedin House. We were all in agreement that our stay was thoroughly enjoyable because of our outstanding hosts: Yvonne and Les. Yvonne was a great source of... More

This was our first B&B and could only ask that any future B&B's can even come close in comparison. Great facility. Clean, comfortable, and a good breakfast. To top it off, the owners were very helpful with travelling tips and welcoming. Thank you. Would definitely recommend as a stop over. Thanks Les and Yvonne. (Bruce and Wendy - Nanaimo, BC... More

Location: A great central location within walking distance of both the train and bus stations, the main shopping centre and the beach/esplanade. Room: A clean, modern, light and airy room with lovely comfy beds. A bit of traffic noise (which I only mention as I'm used to none at home) as we were in a room at the front of... More

Dear frakin_toaster, Many thanks for your extremely kind and comprehensive review of Dunedin, we really appreciate your attention to detail. This is an impressive period house lovingly furnished. The rooms were comfortable and kitted out with a flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Dear Caroline B, Many thanks for your review, but there seems to be a degree of confusion with your review! Although we are absolutely certain you stayed with us at Dunedin (there's not too many Floridians on motorbike vacations just dropping in!) your "room tip" is somewhat confusing as we don't offer a pool or fitness room facilities!
