Had a meal here tonight, was after 8pm so asked if food still being served - greeted with a warm smile and advised they were. Shouted my wife and son out of car to come in and dine. Service was prompt - only us 3 in. Placed order. My Arbroath smokies fishcakes arrived with a 'sour smell' noticed by myself... More

We stayed here Dec/Jan for 2 weeks. It was recommended to us as being friendly and good value, which it certainly was. We got to know the many staff here and they really made our stay so much better. The rooms are a decent size with a desk and chair and slimline tv. Internet is also included which was necessary... More

Staying in the festive mood(we have been out several times over the past ten days) we decided to visit our regular haunt on Sunday as opposed to cooking a roast for two at home. To our pleasant surprise we were able to order turkey soup for starters, which was delicious and so apt for this time of year. An even... More

Went to the bar with daughter and boyfriend and ordered the drinks up, no issue with the barmaid until she had our money in the till then she... More

Stayed for one night earlier this month. All seemed ok at first room ok although air freshener smell wouldn't fade from the room . Food average if plentiful at dinner with prompt service . Noisy other guests in corridor didn't help sleeping , and lukewarm to cold shower wasn't great the next morning. Service at breakfast was poor and only... More

Unfortunately, when I arrived late evening for my one night stay, there was no hot water in the hotel and that situation continued the next morning. That was obviously very disappointing after an 8 hour drive and a further long drive the next day. After a couple of emails and phone calls I received a full refund and apology from... More
