An intriguing hotel with an old 'original' building, coupled with a modern leisure centre wing with bedrooms on the side. I had a large, comfortable room in the new wing. Evening meals and breakfast was available in an elegant room in the heart of the old house. Altogether, a pleasant evenings stay.

Stayed here for one night as part of a large group. We were shocked at the difference in the room sizes for the same price. Our room was in the newer part of the building. Small but very clean and well equipped. The walls were paper thin and we were woken by other guests. Our friends, however, had a magnificent... More

Thank you for offering your feedback regarding your stay with us. All bedrooms in the new wing are Deluxe Rooms and we have some Deluxe Rooms in the original building also. Its generally down to personal preference which rooms people prefer however if you do stay with us again in the future, you can make a request for a particular... More

13th - 15th Novemeber. My husband and I enjoyed a very pleasant stat at this hotel. A mixture of old and new. We had a room (221) in the new part of the buiding which was accessed via the grand staircase in the old part. The room was nice with a huge bed and all the facilities you would need,... More

I stayed here for a night on business recently. Unfortunately I didn't get to use any of the leisure facilities but they looked great & were being used by plenty of people which I take to be a good sign. I had a deluxe room which was very comfortable except that it got a little chilly in the night &... More

Husband and I stayed at Balgeddie House for 6 nights in October 2014. Spacious well appointed room and ensuite. Spa wonderful for a small hotel. Also clean and spacious. Changing rooms deserve a special.mention. Staff professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate. Parking spaces and driving in and out could be better signposted. Some furnishings in public areas a little tired... More

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was small but was adequate for what I needed (a bed). The staff were very welcoming and was sorry to say goodbye to the hotel even after one night stay. The shower was amazing. Food in the restaurant was of a high standard. I would stay here again.

I had been in and out of this hotel during the planning of my sons wedding where I had met Alan the General Manager. Without doubt it is Alan's attention to detail that makes this a first class hotel and wedding venue. First the directions, do not use your sat nav as it will take you to a housing estate.... More

With great access to glenrothes it still has the elegance of being on the suburbs. Great rooms with great views over the countryside. Great traditional scottish breakfast and great leisure facilities. Helpful staff with great local knowledge. Good transport to edinburgh from glenrothes as well
