We visited Haigs resturaunt for lunch and took the special menu of £7 for 2 courses. The food was excellent and portion sizes were great. The only thing I would say was that it wasn't very busy but the service was extremely slow for lunch time as it took 35 mins before we were served our starters. Overall good.

We attended a super wedding reception here this weekend. Function room was set up to a very high standard. The food for a large party was very good. The staff were helpful and friendly. Bedrooms very clean and smart. Breakfast very good.

We attending an amazing wedding recption here this weekend. The food for a large party was top class. The staff were very good at their jobs and all of them had a smile. Lovely setting in a tiny town..I only saw the honeymoon suite..WOW. I would like to come back here for a long weekend

No clear reception area. You are left to fend for yourself. Staff do the bare minimum. No attempt to exceed your expectation. Bed had no mattress cover or a sheet next to duvet.
