I arrived late after along day & Jim & Liz could not have been more welcoming. The room was excellent, very spacious & clean. The breakfast excellent. I have no hesitation in recommending the Pitreavie Guest House.

Liz and Jim who own the guest house were really friendly and welcoming. The bedroom and en suite were comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel welcome right from the start. Scottish breakfast was delicious! We have no hesitation in recommending it, and would happily stay again if we are ever in Dunfermline.
Unfortunatley we only had a one night stay at this fantastic property, wish it could of been longer. The hosts are fab, the house is fab, the breakfast is out of this world. Could not fault one thing. Shall definatley be returning to Dunfermline, just to stay here!!!
The couple who own the guest house Liz and Jim were extremely welcoming, the accommodation was excellent. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pitreavie during our recent trip to Dunfermline. The room had every amenity we could have wanted and Jim and Liz were absolutely delightful hosts. The breakfast was great and Jim even gave us a ride to the bus station. In fact, my husband remarked that it was just like visiting...

Just had the pleasure of staying at the Pitreavie Guest House for two nights ( really wish it had been longer ) I have stayed at various hotels and guest houses across the US and Europe and can honestly say this was the best experience by far. Jim and Liz are very genuine, and make the perfect hosts, and although...

This was certainly the best place to stay in Dunfermline. Although I've rated this B&B's location as average given that it is on a busy intersection, the location of other hotels in this town is very much worse and much noisier. I wasn't bothered by the street noise in my front-facing room and the Pitreavie is one mile from the...

This could have been it until the next morning but Liz made sure we got a lovely cup of tea and a Tunnocks Caramel (Its a Scottish...

We spent 4 nights in this charming guest house for T-In-The-Park 2011, and it was p-e-r-f-e-c-t. The room, the breakfasts, the rides the lovely owners gave us when we were running late for places, everything down to the smallest detail - top notch. Would definitely book a room there next time T-in-the-Park hosts the Arctic Monkeys.
