Stayed here for two nights in between xmas and new year just as a lastminute get away. We really enjoyed it here - the hotel is very clean and modern. The staff couldn't do enough for you - it was a really nice stay. We didn't stay here thinking it was close to Edinburgh or anything. we stayed just to... more

This hotel is a typical Express by Holiday Inn (having stayed at a few now) and the rooms and reception areas, etc are clean and tidy. I found the staff particularly helpful. The building itself is new(ish) but not particularly 'pretty' - functional is about as nice as I could decribe it. We were only staying there a single evening... more

Stayed here while doing the tourist thing in Edinburgh. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Edinburgh from here but the hotel is great for the price. It's new and everything is clean and well taken care of. The room is a great size for a Euopean hotel. The shower (no bath) is quite roomy. The breakfast is adequate... more

I stayed at this hotel while attending a meeting in Edinburgh. The location is excellent being close to the Forth Road Bridge and the hotel itself is clean and modern with very welcoming and friendly staff. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxed environment where they are sure to feel well looked after. I... more

This is a modern (ie new) Holiday Inn Express, on the outskirts of Dunfermline, handy for the adjacent motorway going north or south. Big bedroom, shower but no bath, average smellies/drink sachets, satellite tv, and continental breakfast. Lots of free parking, with a big 24 hr ASDA across the road. A good overnighter but nothing else to commend it. more

The location is good--a mile or so from a train station with free parking. It's a short train ride into Edinburgh. The room was clean and nice, and we had no problems. There was no extra charge for calls made on our calling card. more

Hotel is new, so all common areas and rooms are fresh and clean. Room was adequate size, very clean, simply and freshly decorated. Bathroom was clean, had this cool blue LED nightlight. Working desk was not very big (shared with TV), but enough for me. Location is not exactly in the city, but for me it was good. There is... more

Stayed at the hotel in November for a part business part shopping trip. For business travellers, you'll have some difficulty if you want to use the internet. The connections in the rooms are by wire, and wireless is only available in the foyer but the connection speed is terribly slow. But this is a really nice quiet hotel, next to... more
