Stayed at the Travelodge, Dunfermline overnight ready for a day at The Open is St Andrews, booked a family room for 3 adults. The room was large, clean and the beds were comfy. Very friendly staff. Ideal for a stopover.

Stayed at hotel for two nights whilst visiting superbikes at Knockhill circuit. Easy to find, well signposted. Friendly welcome from reception staff. Offered an ice cream or cold drink on arrival. Helpful information and advice on local facilities and where to eat. 5 minute walk to local Harvester and 10 minute walk to 24 hour Asda. Plenty of free parking.

I had to take my daughter to Edinburgh for a mid-week trip, and baulked at the silly prices. Dunfermline seemed a good compromise, and this place was £62 for the two of us for the night. It is definitely 'no frills' - a basic reception, no food I would want to eat (they do have pre-boxed meals and breakfast snacks).... More

My partner & I have just stayed at this hotel and we have to say it was absoutly brilliant. The room was immaculate & the staff were so friendly. We stayed from the Friday to Monday & when we had come back to our room on the Saturday one of the cleaning staff had actually filled the bath with cold... More

A trip to a Travelodge should be exactly like a time of Ronseal - It should be exactly what it says on the tin. That was exactly what happened here. The hotel was clean, rooms were spacious and staff friendly. Only three minor gripes 1. Having to pay for Wi-fi in this day and age does seem a tad mean.... More

Hotel was easy to find just off a main road, reception was very welcoming and had a map ready of places to eat nearby. Room as expected but was clean and comfortable. Friday night was fine but unfortunately in the early hours of Sunday morning (1am ish) the people in the room above seemed to have left their boots on... More

Excellent all round hotel. Couldn't really fault it at all and in such a great location to access a lot of tourist locations. We will definitely be back. Only gripe as usual are the poly-fiber pillows and quilts which I hate!! But quite incidental for the short stay...

We stayed for two nights. It has been upgraded, is clean comfortable and the staff are very helpful and friendly . It is an excellent base for visiting areas around the Firth of Forth, Fife and Midlothian. It's close to loads of amenities , and the motorway system.Plenty of free parking spaces.

We stayed here for one night to attend a concert at the Alhambra Theatre. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is just a off the motorway in an industrial site, next to a retail park. Macdonalds/ Asda/ shops all right next door. Cost £8 in a taxi into town and a free phone is by reception. Couldn't... More
