This Travelodge is just off Junction 3 of the M90, and about 35 minutes driving time to the centre of Edinburgh. You need a car, there isn't really anywhere within walking distance (you could make it to the Harvester or the Asda in 10/15 minutes I suppose, but along main roads). Rooms are standard Travelodge. I loved my soft bed,... More

Located just off the motorway this Travelodge would be a great base for exploring around Edinburgh area. When we arrived for our one night stay we found the staff friendly and helpful. You get a key card which operates the outside door, lift and your room door which is always good for security. The room itself was clean but the... More

We are just back from a 2 night stay at this Hotel. We paid £30 for a family room per night on a room only basis. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome. Nothing was problem for them and we were offered a food/snacks menu which could be ordered at the reception area if you were hungry. The room... More

We have stayed here several times when visiting family in Dunfermline and always found it to be excellent value as we only need a bed for the night and no friils. This time the bed was not comfy,it gave my partner a sore back and every time he moved I felt like I was on a trampoline which was a... More

A typical value for money Travelodge well situated for Motorway and visiting Fife & Edinburgh - friendly welcoming staff and I did not feel that road noise was a problem However hotel is becoming "tired" and I would mention lumpy worn mattress, very dirty sofa bed and stained shower curtains all of which would benefit from renewal/ cleaning I would... Overnight accomodation at a very affordable price. It is clean tidy and straightforward. No frills and does what it says on the can-so to speak. You can arrive anytime day or night and there is food available a couple of minutes drive away. We booked over 3 weeks ahead and the deal available was a rey reasonable £19.00 for the room... More

The room layout and facilities were typical Travelodge. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. I stay in hotels about 6 weeks a year and can normally sleep anywhere. However I had a very poor night's sleep here. I'm glad we didn't need to use the sofa bed as it was filthy and should really be replaced. The rest of... More

Upon arrival we asked the very nice receptionist for a room in a quiet part of the hotel - she allocated us a room at the back of the hotel + advised that the traffic noise would die down after around 1900hrs - she was right + it was very quiet! Pleasant enough stay - location is next to a... More

I have to confess that I stayed here purely because it was one of the Travelodge's offering cheap weekend deals, with easy motorway access and a great central location. What a find! The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, and both the reception area and my room were absolutely spotless. Be aware that there is unavoidable traffic noise so... More
