We didn't stay in this hotel, but we went there to eat in the bistro. The food was good an the service reasonably nice. Nothing excellent, but a solid four star rating. It's a good choice if you're staying nearby and don't want to venture further into the town center.

My partner and I stayed a night here just to get away for a night and a change of scenery. Hotel looks clean and tidy and I have no faults to say about anything about the hotels cleanliness , facilities or food etc. Everything that way was perfect. However, ( and I do accept that this is out of the... More

This Hotel was warm, friendly and very comfortable and not too far away from the town centre, we only stayed there for the one night as we were going to the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, but would book this again.

I visit the bistro in the hotel regularly. Everything about it is top class. There are large car parking areas to the front and rear of the hotel. The conservatory setting is bright, clean and overlooks the beautiful gardens. The service, especially Paul, is professional and swift. The menu is varied with excellent prices, very good portions and cooked to... More

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights here, making this our 4th or 5th visit. As per usual, the hotel is very clean, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the meals are very good and the lounge has good views over the Forth River and bridges, assuming the infamous mist is not present! It will not be long... More

Stayed here on business with another colleague, as it was a challenge to get any accommodation on the night of the Referendum! Great find, and definitely better than the nearby Hol inn Exp & Premier Inn.. Easy to find, big car park, well lit entrance, friendly & knowledgable staff at reception who were happy also to recommend restaurants nearby as... More

We stayed for two nights. Ground floor room overlooking the corner of the beautiful garden. Very comfortable big bed. Food in bistro overlooking garden was very nice and they were very accomadating with adapations to menu choice. Would stay there again.

We went for a meal and were looking forwards to it as we had been recommended by a friend. It certainly didn't live up to our expectations. The waiting staff were far too keen to clear our plates - I was scared to put my knife down! The food, although tasty enough, lacked flair with a strange garnish of strawberry,... More

Having stayed here on business it was a last minute booking and a late check in. The hotel staff were welcoming as we arrived , and as I got to the room I was very impresssed with the size of the bed. The walls are rather thin so in the morning the noise of the cleaners Hoover's and banging doors... More
