the location was easy to find without the use of a sat nav, the internet was quick and free. there is a domonios pizza 200meteres from hotel. the rooms are not as nice as the grounds 3 start room in 4 star looking hotel, there was toothpaste on the handles of sink other than that everything else was clean.

My wife and myself stayed the night after attending her nephews wedding reception. The rooms were big, the bed was huge and comfy. It was really warm in the rooms but we just opened the windows to let in fresh air. They can't be blamed for that, who would have expected such nice weather in August in Scotland !!!!!!!!!! The... I booked dinner in the Bistro at the Pitbauchlie to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and it was really lovely. The food was excellent and there was a good selection of cocktails for pre-dinner drinks. Lovely service and pretty gardens to look out over. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I found this gem of a hotel when we needed accommodation in Fife that welcomed dogs. We've been back since our first visit (sans dog) and were very impressed with their room, attentive staff and truly excellent full Scottish breakfasts. This is our wee getaway... a place to hide away from the world. If you can get... More

Three of us had dinner at the Bistro. One of our group was Vegan so I contacted the hotel on 2 occasions to make sure they could provide a suitable menu. I was invited to submit a list of what the Vegan might like. The list consisted of Enchiladas, Green Thai Curry, vegetable curry or stuffed peppers. We got Stuffed... More

21 of us had Sunday lunch in the Canmore Room. It was important to us that there was disable parking at the front door and there were no steps to negotiate anywhere we needed to go in the hotel. The room was perfectly laid out with us all sat round one large table, and was nice and private for our... More

Four of us had lunch in the Bistro of the hotel. Would highly recommend it. Two of us had baked potatoes, one with tuna filling and one with prawns. Both had loads of filling. The prawns were overflowing and I have never seen so many prawns on a baked potato. One of us had a panneni type roll which also had... More

Stayed for one night before travelling up to the Open at St Andrews. The hotel is probably a bit dated and has a 80s feel inside the rooms and entrance area, but rooms had everything you would want and the value was good. We ate in the Bistro on site which was ok, don't expect too much from it and... More

We stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Dunfermline and Edinburgh, a nice peaceful location within walking distance of the city centre and train station. Rooms clean and tidy and staff always helpful.
