This hotel was or origianly a coach house. Very clean but the heating was uncontrollable and the bedroom was either very hot or cold. Bathroom heating was always on as was the corridors. Limited free parking. Staff vey friendly

Couldn't fault this place, lovely food, pleasant staff and great value. One of our favourite places to eat and could fault the City hotel a must try with something for everyone. Live entertainment on regularly which is a bonus perfect for a meal with friend or with your other half.

We stayed at the hotel for a few days as a family twice only a matter of weeks apart. Very central with a reasonable restaurant or several other eating choices nearby. Our family room was basic but clean with a spacious bathroom but beware- it was up a couple of flights of stairs and down a narrow corridor. We were... More

Have stayed on several occasions for business travel as handy for football stadium and just a short drive to the conference centre off Halbeath road. Staff have always been friendly and helpful, as much as you can expect for the very reasonable prices per night. Food has been good on all occasions and you don't feel like a leper if... More

Certainly return again next time we are in Scotland. May even consider staying at this hotel at the time of booking our trip we were not aware it was a hotel.... Also perfect... More

Ok, I have to start by saying I have fond memories of the City Hotel from my youth. I used to drink in the bar regularly and I did stay there about ten years ago and had a brilliant stay. This time however I was a bit disappointed. Myself and my daughter stayed for two nights recently, we were in... More
