We stayed here for a wedding. For us it was a good location. Right in the centre of the town. However parking is a nightmare. The hotel has just 2 allocated parking spots and the rest are pay and display. Meaning you have to get to your car before 8am if you want to stay longer to put more parking... More

On arrival we were told "there's a karaoke until 12am but you have a quiet room at the front so shouldn't hear it", after that things just got worse. Positives: The room was a good size and clean. We didn't hear the karaoke, and we were given a refund for leaving early. Negatives: Given the wrong room to begin with,... More

We stayed in room 21,which was pretty much an attic room, with coomb ceilings ,was ok ,not brilliant but fine, after a couple drinks in bar ,went up to room to be met by the most horrendous noise of a party in the flat through the wall ,the music hammered on until 6.30 am ,so sleep was a joke ,I know not... We stayed in Dunfermline as a cheaper alternative to the overpriced hotels in Edinburgh in festival season. The railway station in is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. All staff were friendly and check-in was quick and efficient. The rooms were on the basic side but have all that you need if you are out sightseeing all day.... More

stayed here for a short holiday. Friendly hotel that is well staffed. Breakfast is served quickly and is of a good quality - range of options too. The hotel restaurant is good too and the front bar is snug and quiet. The location is excellent - close to main bus station, key shops and Tesco nearby. The hotel is a... More

For the price of 65 GBP, per night, this was a very comfortable and nice hotel. The staff was helpful to a new tourist like person and helped to describe what is around to see and do. The breakfast was superb! made to order and hot when it comes to you. I like the fact that the breakfast is made... More

Stayed here due to location of theatre. Hotel is ok but dated in places, staff lovely and helpful. Rooms were nice however the walls are paper thin could hear the man next door singing in the shower. The pumps in the bathroom are loud and could hear other flushing the loo's during the night. Tho do watch as if you... More

Lovely hotel, brilliant staff, but no lift which caused me a problem. Also no mirror in room unless you count the 6 foot off the floor in the bathroom which is no good if you're drying your hair. This being said There is a charity shop over the road that seem to be doing a roaring trade in mirrors!

What a great hotel! Fantastic, friendly staff - all of them. Meal in bar was superb (and quick to arrive). Recommend the mixed grill. Great entertainment in the Karaoke bar. Friendly locals. Room was excellent. Clean, well presented and sizeable. Shower a bit on the weak side but otherwise room was great. No problems with noise and I was at... More
