Tasty food but a bit pricey. I had hoped that there would be some 'lunch' options but sadly it's starters and main meals only. There is soup on offer but that's the only thing that could be deemed lunch. This may be a reason for the emptiness during lunchtime. The service was perfect and the food was hot. I can... More

They need to fix the parking lot. There are very large holes in it. Manager said they didn't have enough money to fix it. Both trips to the Hideaway there weren't many people in it. The quality isn't bad but it's nothing to rave about -- 24 pounds for a burger and macaroni with one appetizer with a half pint... More

Service with more than just a smile. We had a family dinner last Sat evening and the service and food was excellent. Timing for courses was perfectly spaced and we wont hesitate to go back there. Really good value for money.

My sister and I had lunch at the Hideaway today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fresh and clearly of good quality. Attentive staff without being intrusive. I had Cullen Skink which was delicious and tomato and pesto bruschetta, again really fresh and tasty. My sister has chicken broth and bruschetta and was also really impressed (she's been recommending... More

First try of the Hideaway for a high-tea and we will definitely come back again. All the staff very friendly, very nice bar area and good food. Lovely selecton of cakes as well. Nice to have a place in Dunfermline to go for a good high-tea.

Good food and great service. Nice touch offering all mothers a box of chocolates after meal. Food was presented quickly and staff very friendly. Highly recommended for a low cost pub lunch. The rest of this review is merely just to make up the 200 word minimum for a review......

Been to the hideaway a few times now, service is always very good, the place is warm and inviting, dining furniture is a mix match, but suits my taste! Food is excellent and it's clear things are fresh and home made, Cullen skink is a must have!
