The girl on front desk was very pleasant and helpful with local directions. Two of us had a triple room with shared bathroom (internet special, 29 pounds). Room was spacious and very clean with wireless internet. There were several bathrooms and toilets on our floor. The young lady on the desk was particularly pleasant and helpful. We had considered staying at the newly constructed Travelodge on the other side of the road, but decided against this because the Travelodge is VERY near to a busy motorway. This Travel Inn is identical to several others that I have stayed in. The location is very good for those touring by car. It is a few hundred yards (metres) from junction 5 of the M9 - next to the Klondyke Garden Centre. We used the Hermiston Park-and-Ride to visit Edinburgh - 20 miles away and almost all by motorway.... more

A very clean hotel. Spotless in fact. I think it must have been recently refurbished or something but I was highly impressed. Incidentally this place is right next door to a "Brewer's Fayre" type eating establishment ( or fast food joint) and if you want meals , it's almost like you feel obliged to go there. This Travel Inn looked as though it had recently had a face lift / refurbisment. The rooms were very clean and well serviced. Excellent value - although I always feel the Travel Inn breakfast is overpriced, but that is a company wide issue. I would stay here again without hesitation more
