Very friendly comfortable guest house with outstanding breakfasts, plus excellent off road parking in a peaceful setting. Period property with lots of original details and kept to a very high standard with all modern facilities. Helpful owner Betty has plenty of local knowledge of where to go and what to see. Lovely bedroom views to the distant Ochil Hills. Highly... More

Looking for a comfortable Guest House in Falkirk? You will find a very warm welcome at the Ashbank. This is a very interesting house, clean and comfortable, where we were given a warm welcome by the resident proprietors. With off street parking, and tasty breakfasts this was an ideal place for a short break.

Superb hospitality from Betty and Bede. Very comfortable rooms, free wifi and splendid Scottish breakfasts with everything from fruit juices and smoothies to excellent black pudding! The new conservatory gives stunning views across the valley to the Ochils on the north side of the River Forth. A scene that changes constantly with the weather. We've now stayed here twice and... My boyfriend and I spent 4 nights at Ashbank Guest House last September on our road trip throughout Scotland. The Guest house is located in Falkirk, charming Scottish town which turned to be very interesting from an historic point of view as it is close to where the battle of Bannockburn took place. Elizabeth is a great host too, she... More

We stayed 6 days when attending the Commonwealth Games & this proved an excellent choice. The facilities & breakfast could not be faulted. As was the service provided by Betty & Bede, who went that extra step. Within walking distance of the station meant we had easy access to public transport into Glasgow.

We stayed at this B&B during the Commonwealth Games. It was easy to get to Glasgow from Falkirk, as there is a railway station nearby. Equally I'm sure it is convenient for Edinburgh to which it is closer. The B&B itself is welcoming and the room was comfortable. Betty is a gracious hostess, and provides a fine breakfast to her... A lovely house, in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views. We stayed here for 2 nights as our base for the ryder cup. We arrived late the first night to be greeted by Betty who welcomed us in, showed us to our room and gave us advice on the local area. Unfortunately we were up and off early both mornings... More

We didn't want to be in Edinburgh or Glasgow, so we picked somewhere right in between. The Ashbank Guest house proved ideal, as it is very close to the railway station so you can choose which way you want to go... Glasgow or Edinburgh. There is also a lot to do and see in Falkirk itself. There is Helix park... More

We were travelling south from Inverness on a Tuesday night and stayed the night in Falkirk at the Ashbank. Betty was a very nice and friendly host. The twin room was clean and had a nice view out the back window. The mattress in the bed, though not uncomfortable, reminded me a bit of a cot. But that's the only... More
