The hotel does look somewhat out of date in it's general appearance and decor. The room was basic with a flat screen tv and tea/coffee facilities, but no air conditioning. Breakfast was a fairly basic hot buffet, plus cereals, yoghurt, fruit juice & fruit. It is fairly close to town (10 min walk perhaps), where there is a reasonable selection... more

I was visiting Falkirk and saw the mixed reviews for this hotel but due to it's location we decided to give it a try. It didn't look much from the outside but when we entered we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel lounge was lovely and not what you would have expected from the outside. We were checked in by a... more

Stayed here for 2 nights and were extremely disappointed. The reception is nice and the receptionist friendly. However the corridors are dismal and the room was absolutely tiny. We had a double room practically the size of a shoebox - only room for one person to squeeze around the side of the bed. It was also extremely hot and uncomfortable.... more

We stayed here 6 months ago and were very disapppointed with the room. However we decided to give it another chance as it is within walkng distance of family. This time we had a renovated room at the front of the hotel. The decor was good, albeit quite dark and there was a good quality flat screen TV. THe bed... more

I stayed in the Park Hotel for one night and thought the room was a decent size (room was at front of building) and had a clean and satisfactory bathroom, good tv and internet service and nice views. Unfortunately the whole 12 hours or so I was in the room the pipes banged and thudded loudly, which was not an... more

Booked 4 rooms for a recent family wedding. Paid £37.50 per head and do not feel we had value for money. Reception area is very welcoming, spacious and friendly staff however on travelling up a level to the bedrooms, were very disappointed. Corridor grotty with brown tape stuck to some of the cupboard doors! Could hear people talking in rooms... more

This is a copy of what I wrote to the manager." I regret to say that our stay at Park Hotel, Falkirk was miserable, disappointing and not an experience we wish to repeat. The room we were allocated, No.22 , was the smallest double room we have ever had the misfortune to occupy. We had been on an extensive motoring... more

Stayed here for one night in June 2008. Reception and restaurant were very nice (although a little pricey). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice - good tv choice. Nice bathroom. Would recommend. more

We were invited to a wedding which was held here. The facilities are OK and the evening was well organised. The eveining meal was nice too. The really shocking thing is that the rooms and corridors don't reflect the fancy foyer and restaurant area at all. It's very misleading. The staff at reception and breakfast are not very friendly, bordering... more
