Recently had the pleasure of a 5 night stay at The Village Apartment. The following is an honest appraisal that is stated by an experienced traveller, comparing this with other City breaks. Franco does give you a warm welcome and is an excellent asset to the company managing these apartments. The locale is excellent; as you turn left you can... More

My partner and I stayed here for five nights during the Fringe Festival and had a great time. The superior suite was a good sized room with a kitchen area and the room was kept nicely clean through our stay. Special mention must got to Franco who was gave us a warm and friendly welcome and recommended Jolly restaurant round... More

If you want accommodation that doesn't rip you off during the Festival, then this is it! For a very reasonable price you get an apartment style room with microwave, fridge, kettle, tea coffee - LUXURY biscuits (much appreciated when coming back from late bars!), muffins, orange juice, mineral water, daily change of towels, very comfortable bed and a real secret... We couldn't fault the place. Great location and clean comfortable accommodation. Free breakfast (muffin, juice, water, milk, coffee) and internet are plus. Friendly staff. We would recommend it and stay here again.

Me and my friend stayed here for our holiday. You can't fault it, nice rooms, everything you really need is provided. It's above a sauna but that doesn't fault it one bit, especially as there is a separate door. Next time I'm in Edinburgh, I will be staying here.

I'd stayed in the Alva hotel before and was really grateful when they told me they had a flat free during the festival at their partner establishment, Village Apartments. The price - £65 per night - was a bargain, and although the setting next to the very functional looking sauna may seem a bit light industrial (!), the actual flat... More
