This B & B had been recommended and we certainly were not disappointed. We stayed in the double room which over-looked the garden, had an incredible bed, extremely comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was healthy and delicious with a range of cereals, museli, fresh fruit, yogurt etc. The accommodation was first class, with your own separate entrance.... More

Have just returned from a 2-night stay and must recommend it as the most peaceful accommodation I have stayed in, in Edinburgh. It is well appointed and spotlessly clean; a good walk into town or a short taxi journey. Breakfasts are delicious - and healthy - served by Lynn who is a treasure! I shall stay again when I return... More

We stayed here the other day and I wish my house was half as luxurious! The bedrooms are large with lovely antique furnishings and the beds are deliciously comfortable with proper sheets, duvets and feather pillows. The ensuite bathroom for the double bedroom had a bath and an excellent shower. The bath was long so would suit tall people. We... More

Why stay in a hotel when there are B&Bs like 24 Saxe-Coburg Place? It's in a beautiful street in a handsome part of town. The room we stayed in was large, comfortable, elegantly furnished and looked out over the pretty garden. Lynne was charming and very accommodating. And breakfast (granola, yogurt, fresh fruit and good coffee) delicious. We were sorry... More

If you are traveling to Edinburgh and would like a great B&B in the New Town this is the place for you. My companies head office is based in Edinburgh's new town and over the years have stayed in a few places near the office when traveling back from work. Given the value for money and standard of rooms and... More

I recently stayed with my partner for an anniversary weekend. We were looking for somewhere near the city that wasn't too expensive. The location was perfect. When we arrived we were greeted by Diana and shown to our double room with extra long bed (for tall people!!), which was spacious, luxurious and had an adjoining large bathroom, with full bath... I stayed in this B&B for two nights in October on a weekend visit to Edinburgh. We arrived very late at night and the properiter, Diana was very accomodating with the late check in. We stayed in the large double room. The room was very big with a huge ensuite bathroom including the biggest tub I've ever seen! It also... More
