Great hotel for those that need to be up and early to the airport. 5min walk to the tram or short ride in a taxi. The room was more than comfortable albeit I wasn't paying £2,50 for a bottle of water in the room. Luckily they had a KFC opposite to provide cheaper water and food of a certain quality....... More

Stayed here in September 2014 for an overnight following a night out with friends. Positives for the hotel include: close to local transport links (including the new Edinburgh tram system - £3 return per person is great value to the centre of the city), free parking, inclusive gym/sauna/swimming pool and good selection at breakfast. Negatives for the hotel, however, outnumber... More

My boyfriend organised this stay in Edinburgh for my birthday celebrations. We stayed here for 3 nights, great little hotel, nice and friendly staff, room was lovely although it did get really hot even with the window open. The pool and steam room was a little bonus after a long walk around the City. Tram 2 min walk away and... More

There are train and trams running close to the hotel. However I slept with the window of my room open all the time I stayed there and was not disturbed by them at all. I had a problem with the shower in my room but it was fixed promptly. The staff are friendly and efficient and the Managers meet with... More

we parked our cars and were startled by the train thundering by. Went in, asked if the room allotted was towards the train/trams. the receptionist was very nice, she admitted yes and apologised that no other rooms were available, went to the room. Room was nice, however there was a tram or a train whistling by ever 5 minutes. When... More

Stayed at this hotel as the city ones were really expensive during Easter Sunday. This hotel was about 30-35 mins from the City Centre. We did not encounter any traffic. The location actually turned out to be good. The highlight became the Krispi Creme Donuts place overlooking our room. There was a shopping centre within Edinburgh Park and we managed... More

Stayed here with friends in August 2014. Hotel is lovely, all the staff really friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern, clean and the bathrooms are really nice. The city centre is a 15minute tram journey - the tram stop being a two minute walk from the hotel. Didn't bother us at all having to get the tram in. Pool... More

Spent four nights here while touring scotland by car, it was a good base as it is close to the motorway and the Edinburgh Park train station so getting downtown to Edinburgh central station was very easy. The area is newly developed and had factories, offices spread out in a wide road setting etc. Satff very pleasant and we had... More

Stayed here for myself and fiancés birthday weekend. We arrived an hour earlier than check in but the room was available. I had phoned them a few days earlier to say we were arriving on my fiancés birthday and there was a tasty box of chocolates in the room! All staff we're extremely friendly and very helpful when giving directions... More
