Very good service and friendly staff, extremely noisy at night as it is facing a busy road, very hot at night and rooms are very dark and in desperate need for refurbishment. Our room was nothing like the photos on the website.

We stayed at the Gilmore recently and found the guesthouse to be fairly decent overall. The room was adequate and comfortable, and the price was reasonable. It's in a good location, within walking distance of the main sights. However, the check in policy is unusual - if you are checking in after 4pm you need to call a number to... More

The location was ideal as I was in walking distance to the city centre and local shops. However, due to work beginning done in the breakfast roomI was unable to have a breakfast. Though was given options locally. Additionally, on the website it stated I could request a radio. When I asked I was informed that it was available. But... More

No breakfast options although there are breakfast menus with timetables in every room. When we asked for breakfast in the morning they said that they no offer it any more. Taxi to the airport was already booked the previous night, so no time to have breakfast in other place. Check in time only from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. They requested us... More

We found a good price for double room, so we got it. Our room was ok: comfortable bed, clean bathroom, we had an adaptor for our mobile phones and other facilities. The owner, an indian guy, was kind, as well. Unfortunately we couldn't have breakfast: the fridge was empty, the breakfast room was absolutely tiny and there were towels on... More

A very nice guesthouse with a super friendly owner. We were two girls and he put an extra bed in the room because the bed was to small for us to share. Comfortable beds and we have nothing to complain about. We had to share the bathroom with two other rooms but it was nothing that bothered us. The Guest... More

It was the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. No hot water, whatever promised not done, no rooms cleaned everyday, heater doesn't work, no tea coffee refurbished. Pls don't book this hotel. It is worst than a shared hostel room

In my opinion this accommodation was slightly overpriced for various reasons. Staff was not very welcoming, pure business. I saw him only when we checked in and paid. Never again. Towels were changed only when we explicitly asked for it (after 3 days!), no shampoo or shower gel, only one tiny soap bar. The bathroom looked very worn out. It... More

This was overpriced for not great accomodation. The owner was nice and the location is ok, but the room was poor. It was grubby (hand print on the wall, gaffer tape with Do Not Use in ballpoint pen over the soap dispenser, no teaspoons to stir tea, wonky mirror ), and not clean ... There were crumbs of food from... More
