£280 for a 2 night stay in the worst guesthouse I have ever stayed in. It's noisy, broken and it stinks. The heating does not work and we were given a tiny electrical heater. I think the pictures speak for themselves : mould, broken taps, noise from the water pipes.

We stayed in room 8 on the top floor of the guest house. We arrived very late due to train delays, and there was an unusual check in process, we had to find our key and check our selves in. I had to ring several times to book this later check in, because even though i requested it on booking... More

Booked on line thought it was expensive but expected reasonable accommodation. Stinks, very untidy, the tiniest of bathrooms, really grotty. Didn,t realise there was a festival on, so of course inflated tariff. They mentioned carparking, had to park a long distance away at a 25 pound for 24hrs car park. I,m usually easy to please but boy this is the... More

The en suite was more like a porta loo caravan style and smelled like raw sewage even though we left the door shut with the fan on we could still smell the stench throughout the whole room. This meant we used the shared bathroom which didn't smell but did flood if you shower for longer than 2 minuets! The sink... More

Staff friendly and cheap. It's OK if your just looking to put your head down for a night and not looking for anything too fancy. Could be doing with being updated. When we arrived there was a note on the door to say call a number to check in or go to another guest house across the road. We were... More

Stayed here 28th May for 3 nights, could only bare to stay 2 at a push. As previous reviews there was no one onsite so had to call a number then given directions to get in the house. We were supposedly upgraded into room 1, the room didn't have photos on their website as was awaiting photos, now I see... More

Ok. Well this visit started off really bad but improved from there. First of all, we could not get into the Guesthouse as there was nobody there to meet us on arrival at 12.30pm. Tried calling the number posted on the door but got no answer. Tried again a little later and got through to Alan, who turned out to... More
