Breakfast was amazing! Esp the vanilla pancakes. Bit out of the town but the bus stop is 2 mins from this guesthouse! Will definitely... More

I stayed here with a group of friends over New Years and we all had a fantastic time! I regularly stay in hotels (often the big chains) in a similar price range. I was just blown away by the difference; Albyn Town House was miles better than them! It was outstanding in all areas: very clean, really friendly, amazingly comfortable... More

If I could live here??? I would! The jams/compotes/stewed fruits with breakfast, were to die for. Actually the breakfast in general was amazing. The room was comfy, clean, and homely, my brother and I loved it so much we stayed an extra night (which did thoroughly irritate our next hotel) but it was worth it. They were very friendly here,... Truly a great overnight stay. Room was great and everything you could ask for. It is so quiet eventhough you are in a city. Near enought to walk to all the sites etc. Breakfast was lovely and service excellent. Was parking available at small cost too. All in all we couldnt ask for more.

We stayed here for two nights and it was lovely! The welcoming was very warm and friendly, the room was spacious, tidy and comfortable and the breakfast was... delicious. There's really not much more too say, except that if we will visit Edinburgh again, that this place will be our first choice!

Stayed 3 nights 3-6th December, booked based on reviews and wasn't dissapointed! The Albyn is a jewel, the decor is wonderfully welcoming, Lydia is an amazing host along with her husband and all the staff especially Ines who serves breakfast. Edinburgh is awesome, did the Castle, Royle mile, Princess street etc. Also intended to visit the Kelpie's at Falkirk... So... More

My boyfriend and I, stayed at Albyn Townhouse for a couple of nights last month. We got there a Friday night about midnight but we found a very nice welcome letter and a city map, and they also provided us with all the details to get in. The room was such a cute place with a vintage style, that I... More

Arrive on a Friday evening, lovely welcome and given an overview of the house and area. We were tired after our drive and we were shown straight to our room! No 8, on the top floor was lovely and quiet, with a sneaky view of the castle for good measure! The King size room was brilliant and the bed was... More

A family run B&B that makes you feel at home. The owners are very nice and helpful and it was enjoyable to chat to Lydia. The location is in a quiet street. It is about 15 minutes walk from the train station and the old city center and it is possible to take a bus from the bus stop that... More
