This hotel is a lovely stay if you want some where quiet and near the capital. It has a lovely breakfast menu and posh rooms. The owners were very kind and helpful. It is in a very handy location just under the Forth road and rail bridge. A great stay in a brilliant location, just a 10 minute drive from... more

Calmyn's hospitality contributed to our incredible holiday in Scotland. She was well organized in her dealings with visitors and the B & B accommodations were very pleasant. We already miss her delicious smoked salmon and homemade pancakes for breakfast. We found the Queensferry location convenient for daily trips to Edinburgh yet away from the busy urban centre. more

My partner and I stayed at Priory Lodge on 11-12 August 2009, on a visit to Edinburgh for the Tattoo. We considered the cost of accommodation in E'burgh ( it was also Festival time ) to be prohibitive and, thankfully, an Internet search identified the Priory Lodge in South Queensferry, a short bus/train journey from E'burgh centre. Everything was perfect,... more

We went over for the Tattoo and if we had booked accomodation early in the year we would not have found this gem of a guesthouse. Sth Queensferry is a lovely place and can be very relaxing after the bustle of the city. Priory Lodge is superb. The room was great with a 4-poster bed and things like cd player,... more

Our stay at this lodge was the best value for money of all our accomodation over our 6 week tour of UK, Ireland. The hosts were very friendly and obliging and their breakfasts were more interesting than just the usual English cooked breakfast (salmon, crepes for example). more

Very Nice Bed & Breakfast!! The hotel is located in South Queenferry, outside Edinburgh but it's perfect to relax after a long journey visit in Edinburgh. Very good comunications with Edinburgh city; there's a bus stop just outside the hotel and in 20min. you are in the city center. South Queenferry village offers good restaurants to taste scotish seafood and... more

My 5th stay, and it really does just get better and better. Calmyn and Gordon are superb hosts, and the breakfast is astonishing. Beautifully kept rooms add to the quality, and it has to be the BEST B & B for Edinburgh and area. Simply magnificent !!! Richey & Joyce, Beverley, East Yorkshire. more
