What a great B&B. Came here on a round-scotland trip, and spent the previous night in a run down Travelodge in Newcastle on the way up. What a difference! Clean, excellently furnished room. Large bathroom, huge power shower (with side jets!) and a nice dining room/lounge with tv/DVD/kettle/fridge etc.
Vince & Trisha couldn't have been friendlier. Made sure we knew where evrything was; how to get into town; what was worth seeing, and even recommended a great italian for our evening meal. (Vittoria's on Leith Walk) We were introduced to the other guests to break the ice in the morning. We actually met the american guy who wrote the previous review! Small world.
Fabulous breakfast with plenty of variety available. I can definitely recommend Vince's honey & whisky mix for your morning toast.
Overall this has to be the best guest house we have ever stayed in. Will definitely be coming back.
