Dear Paula, Just to say thank you for making our stay at the Four Seasons Guest House so comfortable. No wonder why you make us return to Edinburgh each time we visit Scotland. We always find you there upon our arrival, welcoming us and lead us to "our room". You may rest assured that we look no where else to... More

Do not stay in this hotel!! Foyer and rooms stink of cigarette smoke. Threadbare towels and ripped/torn bed sheets. Dirty glasses with toothpaste residue still remaining. At 75 pounds pet night you would be better placed at a backpackers! Complete waste of money, amazed it was awarded one star!!

The room was filthy, the bed was the worst in my life. I did not sleep the whole night. We paid on arriving, but some time later the woman that had made us pay in advance shouted after us, when we were leaving the house, asking if we had paid. Our room was in the basement and the other guest... More

Booked double en-suite for one night last week, check in from 11am. Was greeted by friendly manager who was very helpful and quite memorable. The room was a fair size, quite clean and we were given keys to the main door, as well as our bedroom so that we could come and go as we pleased. Cooked breakfast was put... More

Stayed here after our room was given away at the Mayville Guesthouse. Staff were very accomodating and understanding of our position. The room we ended up in was very spacious and clean. We shared a bathroom with what was supposed to only be one other room however another room continuously used the bathroom and this was quite frustrating (especially in... More

We stayed at the Four Seasons in Edinburgh. The Mangeress was very helpful and friendly so full marks to her. It seems the hotel is jointly owned by someone who runs a guest house across the road. The hotel is untidy, very dusty and the outside space a real mess. The room was clean and tidy but very outdated. Breakfast... More
