Stayed Friday and Saturday night. Found the whole experience very enjoyable, not sure if I would want to be here at the height of the season when it apparently can become extremely busy, but that is personal not a reflection of the site. We stayed in one of the heated Wigwams, masses of room, kettle, microwave , extra heater which... More

Caravan OK, cleaning leaves a lot to be desired, kettle still grubby after cleaning (was changed promptly by office), tea pot still half full from previous occupant, no toilet roll (be prepared), dishes & glasses must be washed before use (great start to the holiday). Dog hairs on the cusions (we have a dog, definitely not allowed on furniture) No... More

Stayed three nights with motorhome while visiting daughter at Edinburgh University. Very good bus service from outside the park gates. Site is lovely open park land with lots of space in early February! Good shower block, kind and helpful staff, especially lady when I called to book. Only draw back is pleeeese stop charging for wifi. I am in similar... More

Both my husband and I struggled to find a flushed toilet both in the Gents and Ladies Toilets and made visiting them an unpleasant experience. Perhaps it says more about the visitors than the Site Cleaning Staff, but a large notice on the wall of each cubicle is urgently required asking people to flush the toilet every time they visit... Stayed here for just 2 nights in a wigwam was a really nice friendly stay and very helpful. The reception does close early at this time of year but late comers you do feel welcomed too. The campsite could do with some more lights. Would return again in the future.

Stayed here only for one night on the way through but we'll be back. What a fabulous place! Really friendly and helpful staff, good pitches, great facilities ( that are warm even in the winter!) And a bar/restaurant where the staff could not have been nicer. Food was fantastic, particularly the burger.

We stayed here in a motor home over new year, great pitch, hard standing and level. The staff were very helpful in fact they couldn't have been better, likewise the showers were lovely, clean and heated. The bus into Edinburgh is right outside the entrance and at only 3.50 for on/ off all day a real bargain. In fact we... More

Stayed here during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Considerably cheaper than anywhere else during this period assuming you don't mind braving the Scottish summer. Nice spacious campsite with plenty of space. Good transport link to Edinburgh with regular buses all day from the park entrance, which we used daily for the Fringe. The campsite has a small games room and shop... More

I stayed at Mortonhall around 4 years ago and camped This year we decided to book one of the caravans for new year with a group of friends! Gone are my childhood memories of chain caravan parks! This was lovely. The location is fantastic near the motorway, near Edinburgh, near shops, near Glasgow! Sorted The caravan its self was stunning,... More

I stayed here recently for a weekend. I had stayed years ago and it has only gotten better. Very clean site and caravan. Extremely helpful staff. The Stable Bar serves gorgeous home cooked food. One thing of note though - we stayed in a static caravan and a couple of little things would improve it - there was no hand... More
