We have just returned from a weekend stay at Mortonhall, lovely clean site, well looked after and well maintained. Even though the site was quite busy on Friday and Saturday night it was very quiet, also with the good number of toilet/showers we didn't have to wait once. Great location for getting into Edinburgh, a £3.50 day rider ticket on... More

this is a lovely site, it's big but well maintained. The large toilets do seem to attract large numbers of daddy long legs for some reason, which kinda freaked my daughter out but that's camping for you! Our recent trip at end of february seen us staying more toward the wigwam area and we used, what I presume are their... More

Regularly stay here when visiting Edinburgh as it is ideally situated with public transport into the city. On-site restaurant "The Stable" is one of the best we have ever tried. The site is so big we have never been disappointed by finding it full or being turned away. Facilities are very good and toilets and showers are spotlessly clean. We... More

Stayed here with family as we were visiting Edinburgh to see a show. After trying various hotels/B&B's we could not find reasonably priced accommodation due to it being rugby season. Found this little gem tucked away about 15 minutes drive from Edinburgh City. Caravan was spotless. We had everything we needed. Gas Central heating was on for us arriving. Arrived... More

Convenient and easy to access with very friendly staff. Pitches were in quite close proximity and for a large motor home like ours it was a snug fit to stay on hard standing. Some pitches were on quite an incline although some are pretty flat. Bus stop just outside of site has a bus into Edinburgh approx every 10 minutes... More

We stayed here just before Christmas while visiting Edinburgh and the Christmas markets. The pitch we were given was easily accessible and flat and close to the facilities. It was very quiet when we were there but everything was exceptionally clean and the staff were very helpful. A very good experience and highly recommended

Myself and 4 friends went to Edinburgh for this years Hogmanay. Most hostels started at £50pn with a 3 night minimum stay so i found this place, and what a find it was! Staying in a static caravan cost us £30 each per night. Which included 1 double, 2 twin rooms, great shower, separate toilet, oven and hob, microwave and... More

We were booked in for 2 nights over the New Year in our motor home. Firstly we were booked onto a H/S with EHU but you had to cross very soft grass to get to it so although we tried we soon backed out again and parked in the coach park with other people who had experienced the same problems... We stayed in a tent at the site for 2 nights over the New Years period. The site is so far the best we have stayed at for the facilities it offers. The site offers a bar & restaurant (although our experience of this was disappointing), shop, games & TV room, kitchen area & laundry area. Unlike other sites we... More
