Stayed for two nights with my partner and two kids in a Wigwam. Wigwams are basic but have room for 5 people, a tv, microwave, heater (although we didn't need this due to the good weather) and fridge with a small freezer. There was also a clothes drier and your own barbeque area outside. Parking space was provided too. The... More

This camp is big, but really well maintained. Facilities are very good - kitchen, play area (with TV, arcade machine, pool table), store, bar & restaurant, laundry area, enough of (clean) toilets and showers. The staff is really friendly, explaining everything. The location is convenient for both - those traveling by car as well as bag packers. The bus which... More

In Edinburgh, but when your on site, there is nothing city about it. close to all amenities and the shop is not fantastic but has all the essentials. The Stedding Bar is moments walk, and the number of showers and toilets means no waiting. Play park is fantastic and clean. I cant say enough about how great a holiday it... More

Chose Mortonhall for its location and quality and was not disappointed. Good size touring pitch. The pitch was difficult to find and being on a slight slope positioning and levelling was difficult on my own. However, once set up the stay was perfect. Good clean wash blocks that were perfect for the little ones as one of the blocks had... More

Stayed 4 nights in our van. Showers were good, though small. TV room good. Lots of well kept grass. Bus stop right outside the driveway, very convenient. Campsite very crowded on weekend. Wifi was absolute rubbish, paid £25 for two weekly vouchers and it hardly worked. Wouldn't connect, then disconnected at will. Wouldn't work in TV room, or bathrooms, or... More

Every year we stay at this lovely site. Trade stand at the Royal Highland Show and the on site camp is less than agreeable!!! So we choose to return each evening to a little slice of Heaven to rest & recoup after a long day, hot shower & a good meal. Very friendly staff and a well kept site. Returning... More

We spent 3 nights at the campsite in one of the wooden pods. We are a family of 5 - 2 adults and 3 children. Friendly staff who were happy to help and advise. The wooden pods were great fun - kids loved it. Electric heaters provided but not needed - v warm! There is a communal kitchen - but... More

We have just returned from a weekend stay at Mortonhall, lovely clean site, well looked after and well maintained. Even though the site was quite busy on Friday and Saturday night it was very quiet, also with the good number of toilet/showers we didn't have to wait once. Great location for getting into Edinburgh, a £3.50 day rider ticket on... More

this is a lovely site, it's big but well maintained. The large toilets do seem to attract large numbers of daddy long legs for some reason, which kinda freaked my daughter out but that's camping for you! Our recent trip at end of february seen us staying more toward the wigwam area and we used, what I presume are their... More
