Buses into edinburgh run approx every 15mins £3 for a day pass taxis cost about £10 - £12 pounds. We did not come with great expectations but were pleasantly surprised with the apartment which had everything that one would need for a stay away from home. The Taxi-driver didn't know the place, thought it was a private appartement-house. Reception was closed when we arrived, but the very friendy late-check-in Service explained us where to find the keys, no problems. Finally found everything ok.
